The true destination of the drive
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
That was a drive to the Sanin area to get a feel of the summer ahead of time.
But of course, the purpose is not just to collect tourist information for our future guests.
The true destination was just beyond the beach.
Therefore, even though I knew it was stormy, I went into the Sanin region the day before to understand how the situation would change.
However, the stormy weather the day before was more than I expected, and the usual blue sea was raging like a demon.
Due to strong winds from the north, most of the spots I know of have been wiped out.
The conditions were too hard and it could accept only advanced surfers and professionals.
Under such condition, I was finally able to find some hard but beautiful waves in a spot behind the wind in the afternoon.
This petit surf trip made me realize again how important it is to study weather and geography before playing sports.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ひと足先に夏を感じようと出かけた山陰ドライブ。
もちろん、これから来られるゲストさんたちのための観光情報の収集だけが目的ではありません。
目的地はビーチのそのまた先です。
そのため、時化ているとはわかっていても前日から山陰入りし、状況がどう変化するか理解したいと考えました。
ただ、前日の時化は想像以上で、いつもの青い海が鬼のように荒れ狂っていました。
北の強風を受けて、知っているスポットはほぼ全滅。上級者・プロ以上は受け付けないハードなコンディション。
そんな条件下、午後になってようやく風裏のスポットでハードながらきれいな波を見つけることが出来ました。
スポーツ以前に、気象と地理の勉強が大事だなぁと再認識した今回のプチサーフトリップでした。
