Silent change of this city

Are there many people who notice this?

It is changing quietly and steadily in this city.

A city bank reduced its shops and only one remains in this city now.

We thought that they would close only one shop in our port town, but they closed a shop in steel town, the center of this city’s industry.

Actually they also closed a shop in Kurume, and only one shop in prefectoral capital remains in the west part of this prefecture.

The change without users convenience are about to happen now.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

気づいている人は多いのでしょうか？

静かに、でも着実に街は変動しています。

とある都市銀行、市内の店舗がひとつだけになってしまいました。

わが港町の店舗だけがなくなるのかと思っていたら、街の工業の中心、鉄の街の店舗もなくなってしまったようです。

実は県内西部でも久留米の店舗がなくなり、県庁所在地の店舗のみに集中化したようです。

利用者の利便性はそっちのけの変化が起ころうとしています。

This is quite sudden, but we just heard that 10 other infected patients of COVID-19 were clarified in this city yesterday.
(It was only 4 patients till the day before yesterday.)

So I checked that there are few people walking in this town and I walked/looked around this port town.

In this year 2020, supposed to be Olympic year, it seems to have/had various change in many places.

Some are intentionally, some are not.

この町の未来は？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

突然ですが、それまでこの街の感染者は４人だったのが、昨日一日であらたに１０人増えたそうです。

というわけで、町に出歩いている人が少ないことを確認してから、久しぶりにわが町を探索してみました。

本来オリンピックイヤーとなるはずだった今年2020、良い意味でも悪い意味でも、この町は色んなところで変わる予定の／変わったようです。

意図的に変わるものもあれば、変わらざるを得なかったものもあり様々です。

Let’s Change for Future!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

To tell the truth, I left Kanmon for Tokyo, because number of guests are low in April and I have family matter to take care.

I always feel something different whenever I visited Tokyo for several years.

The biggest surprise of this time was airport, Haneda Airport.

We used to use bus from airplane to terminal building. But we directly walk in the terminal by using boarding bridge.

And there are big signs of “TOKYO 2020” on the side of all boarding bridges.

It is two years to go. Everyone seems to excited about the coming big event.

I welcome this kind of positive change. So I want to visit Tokyo more frequently.

未来に向かって、か・わ・る！

世界中に朝が、東京に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

実は少し落ち着いたのと、ファミリー・マターがあるのとで、関門を離れ東京に来ています。

ここ数年の東京は行く度になにかが変わっています。

今回良い意味で一番驚いたのが空港。

以前は到着機から到着ターミナルまで移動していたのですが、
今回はボーディング・ブリッジで直接ターミナルまで歩いていけるようになっていてびっくりしました。

そして、そのボーディング・ブリッジには大きくTOKYO 2020の表示！

あと二年とちょっと、、、盛り上がってきているみたいです。

こうした前向きな変化は大歓迎で、これからもちょくちょく行きたいなと考えている今日このごろです。
