Lately, I really feel time flies. and I realized that it is already new year yesterday.

These are the scenery in the suburbs of this city.

It is now the harvest time of “sea breeze cabbage”, the brand name of them. Farmer seems to be busy harvesting.

Now is the best time to eat them, because it has both filling weight of winter cabbage and soft leaves of spring cabbage.

As well as the cabbage, now is the best time to start living in this town, because it has both convenient aspect of city and relax atmosphere of country.

この街の郊外の様子です。（かつては工業で有名な街です。公害ではありませんよ。）

地元ブランドの「潮風キャベツ」が収穫の最盛期、畑では収穫に大忙しのようです。

冬キャベツのずっしり感と、春キャベツの柔らかさとを絶妙にあわせ持つ美味しさで、今が食べごろです。

キャベツ同様、都市と田舎が絶妙に同居する街、北九州。人口もほど良く減っていて、今が住みごろです。
