The first time in 2018!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On the first day of this week, it was super HOT all over Japan.
(According to guests, it was also hotter than 30 degree C in Seoul.)

First thing in this year 2018 happened in TOUKA.

We present it with a moving picture.
(You may not notice what is the first this year only by watching it.)

P.S. This summer seems to be very hot too.
We can bet that we will talk with our guests about the topic “Global Warming”.

2018年、初！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週初めの月曜日は、日本全土暑かったようで、、、
（ゲストによると、ソウルも30度超えだったみたいです。）

「灯火」では今年初めての出来事が、、、

この時期にあまりに意外だったので、動画でお届けします。
（でも動画、ただ見るだけでは何が初めてか分かりません。）

Cool in a Tropical Night!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Because I am a sun bringer, weather has been improving since I came back from Okinawa. It has been extremely hot days recently.

At TOUKA, a cicada stays at the trunk of sunflower which bloomed very big and sing very loud. The sound make us feel hotter in these days.

In such a hot day, I found a cast‐off shell of a cicada near TOUKA’s ANDON lantern, when I move it off to close guesthouse in the night.

There was a cicada just got out from the cast‐off shell walking toward the lantern.

I don’t know why but that made me feel cool even in a ‘tropical night’.
It is because the cicada seemed to be cool by taking off his shell.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

晴れ男なせいか、沖縄から戻って、天気が回復し始め、ここのところずっと暑い日が続いています。

「灯火」では大きく咲いたヒマワリの幹にもセミがとまり、すぐ近くで鳴くので、さらに暑く感じるこの頃です。

そんなある日、閉店時間に看板と行灯を片付けようとしたら、、、
行灯のすぐそばにセミ幼虫の抜け殻を見つけ、
脱皮したばかりのセミが行灯の方に向かって進んでいました。

その姿は硬い殻を脱いでスッキリしたようにも見え、
涼しくなったように感じるのは自分ぐらいでしょうか。
