Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Because of coronavirus outbreak, unexpected troubles are happening in Japan.
Toilet papers are running out in shops, as the time of oil-shock 1970s.
It is the shortage next to surgical mask and disinfection sheet.
I found that the shelves in nearest supermarket from this guesthouse is also empty.
According to news, this shortage was caused by fake news in internet. How about in other countries?
We can find many toilet papers in the resale site with super expensive price.
As we have experienced during World War 2, Japanese seem to be the people who are easy to incited.
Actually there is other shelves are empty in the supermarket.
It is shelves for sanitary items. This may be also caused by fake news?
This is unbelievable situation in such an aged area, Kitakyushu. Next item of shortage may be diaper for senior people.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
新型コロナウイルスの感染により、日本では思いもかけないところに影響が出ています。
なんと70年代に起きたオイルショックの時のように、トイレットペーパーの買い占めにより店頭では欠品状態になっています。
マスク、除菌シートに次ぐアイテムの欠品です。
当宿近くのスーパーマーケットでも空になった棚が目立ちます。
報道によると、デマが原因の購買らしいのですが、他の国ではどうでしょう？トイレットペーパーの買い占め見られるでしょうか？
日本では買い占められたトイレットペーパーは転売サイトで出品されています。
先の大戦のときもそうでしたが、日本人はどうも扇動されやすい国民のようです。
実はスーパーマーケットではトイレットペーパーの棚の反対にある棚も空っぽになっていました。
よくみると生理用品の棚だったようです。こちらもデマのせいでしょうか？高齢化の進む地元でこんなに需要があるとはにわかには信じがたい状況です。
次に品切れになるのは大人用紙おむつかもしれませんね。もしこれがなくなると困るでしょうね。
