Harvests from the Sea!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I am thinking everyday, working for our guest at reception with watching sea.

I always advice very best spots to visit of each timing of each guests visit.

I noticed that it may hard for tourists to know the real attractions of this town.

Within the distance of about 40 minutes drive,

tideland99we have huge tideland where we can enjoy razor fish hunting.

beach99and we have beautiful beach of highest water quality of AA level where we can enjoy surfing.

Of course, we have quays in 6 min walking distance where we can enjoy fishing.

These are the real harvests from the sea here.
It is the happiness to live close to the sea.
There are full of attractions of the sea, we had not noticed in our childhood.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

毎日受付で、海を見ながらおもてなしをしていて思います。

当宿を訪れるゲストには、そのタイミングでベストのとっておきスポットを常に紹介していますが、、、

この町の本当の魅力は住んでみないと分からないのかもしれません。

ここから４０分ほどで行ける距離には、、、

tideland99無料で潮干狩りが楽しめる広大な干潟や、

beach99波乗りも出来る水質レベル最上級ＡＡのビーチがあります。

もちろん眼下の徒歩６分には関門海峡を望み、釣りも楽しめる岸壁。

子供の頃にも気付くことのなかった海の魅力に溢れています。

On the way to the destination!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The repeater guest checked out.

His first stay was about 2 years ago. We talked about his unique part time job, traveling, and favorite beer and laughed each other a lot.

For two years since last time, he has thought about his future job and dreams. As the result, he decided to be an exchange student and come to Japan. This time, he visited here on the way to the school.

He will go into an university in Tokyo after check-out. He said that he will come TOUKA again to report us his latest situation. We are already looking forward to seeing him.

Slowly but steadily, the guests, who drop by here repeatedly on the way of their life, are increasing among our guests. Because we started this business with final goal to make this guesthouse such place, we were happy to meet with the guest like him.

Can TOUKA be the light of the life?

We want to be the light which show the timing of veering as well as the direction to go, like this lighthouse.

途中立ち寄り！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

リピーターのゲストさんがチェックアウトしました。

前回のご利用は二年前。その時にはユニークなアルバイトや旅行のこと、ビールの話題で盛り上がりました。

あれから二年の間に、どんな仕事をしたいかや、将来の夢などを考えたそうです。その結果、日本に留学することを決めて、その引っ越しの途中で「灯火」に立ち寄ってくれました。

チェックアウト後には東京の大学へ向かうとのこと、お見送りの時には「またここに近況報告に来ます」と言ってくれ、すでに次また会うのがとても楽しみで仕方ありません。

少しづつ、でも、着実に、、、人生の途中にこの宿に立ち寄ってくれるゲストが増えています。そういう場所にしたいと考えてこの地で開業したので、正直とてもうれしい状況です。

 

「灯火」は人生の針路を示す目印になれていますか？

「灯火」は、この灯台のように、針路だけでなく、いつ変針すべきかをも示す存在でありたいと思います。

Not only warm weather!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Thursday was holiday in Japan, the spring equinox day.

Spring equinox is also called “Higan” in Japan, which is one of memorial day for our ancestors.
Morning rain was dried before noon and it was very warm whole day in Kanmon area. On spring equinox, Japanese usually go to graveyard to pray for our ancestors, think that sun comes from due east and sets in due west and the day separates cold and warm period. But we had another event on spring equinox this year.

It is Full Moon, moreover the last Super Moon in 2019.

As it was slightly cloudy here on Thursday, we can see moon through thin cloud and it was not clear. So TOUKA present you previous day, Wednesday’s moon, which is the 14th moon.

暖かいだけではない！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜日の日本は祝日でお休み。

そう春分の日です。

関門エリアでは朝降った雨も、お昼ごろには乾き、穏やかな気候でした。春分といえば、お彼岸、太陽が真東から上り真西に沈む日、寒暖を分かつ日など色々ありますが、実は今年の春分には実はもう一つイベントがありました。
