It’s not someone else’s problem!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Yesterday, KANKU(Kansai International Airport) was in the serious problem, wasn’t it?

It’s not someone else’s problem, because our Kitakyushu airport is an offshore airport and rely on connecting bridge for main transportation like KANKU.

According to our guests from overseas, most of them have been to OSAKA, KYOTO and KOBE before visiting here. For a while, everyone will be interested in recovery of KANKU and tourists move who were schedule to use KANKU. There may be some travelers who originally plan to use KANKU but change destination from KANKU to Kitakyushu.

After investigation about the ship “HOUNMARU”, which hit connecting bridge to KANKU, we knew that she has VecTwin Rudder System. Even if she has new strong rudder, she cannot avoid running without control. (When I saw the tracking record of HOUNMARU, I found out she spun several times and hit the bridge.) Too much trusting ourselves can be the greatest risk, we studied.

他人事ではないっ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日は関空が大変なことになりましたね。

我が北九州も同じように海上空港で、陸地との行き来は連絡橋に頼るため、関空での事故は他人事ではありません。

当宿を利用される海外からのゲストのほとんどが最初か二度目の日本に「大阪・京都・神戸」を経験していることから、今後しばらくの関西渡航客の動向が注目されますね。橋に乗り入れている鉄道の被害・影響は計り知れないでしょう。この秋お休みをとって関西旅行を予定していた人で、行き先を北九州に変更する旅行者もいるかもしれませんね。

調べてみると、衝突した「宝運丸」にはベクツインラダーが採用されているとのこと。たとえどんなに強力な舵を持っていても、自然が引き起こす想定外の状況下、迷走してしまったようですね。（航跡を見ると海上でクルクル回った後、橋に激突したようですね。）過信は最大のリスクだと気付かされます。
