There was no diamond on the shortest day!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
It was the winter solstice yesterday. Sun set at the southmost point.
Usually, we see the sun setting at the top of Mt. Sarakura from here. However we could not see the sunset yesterday, because of cloudy sky.
(We named that sunset “Diamond Sarakura” and we are expecting to see it every winter solstice.)

P.S. It is also full moon, but because of the cloud, I couldn’t see it too.

ダイヤモンドならず、、、一番短い日！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
昨日土曜日は、暦の上では「冬至」、昼が最も短い日です。
日没も一番南に沈みます。
例年だと、その一番南の日没位置が、「灯火」から見ると北九州一高い山、皿倉山の頂になるのですが、今年は曇天のため残念ながら見ることが出来ませんでした
（その様子を「ダイヤモンド皿倉」などと勝手に命名して有難がっています。）

P.S. 月もまた満月だったのに、雲のせいできれいに見ることが出来ませんでした。
