In the vast field right next to the surf spot in this town,
 
yellow flowers are blooming beautiful now.

What are these flowers?
 
They are rape blossoms, actually cabbage flowers.
 
The flowers are in full bloom in the cabbage field after harvest.
 
Cabbage is also a member of the Brassicaceae family, so it is said that it produces rape blossoms. This was told in a TV program.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
 
この町のサーフスポットのすぐ横にひろがる広大な畑では
 
今、黄色い花がきれいです。

何の花？
 
こちら菜の花なんですが、実はキャベツの花です。収穫後のキャベツ畑で満開です。
 
テレビで言ってました。キャベツもあぶらな科ということで「菜の花」を咲かすそうです。

Our most favorite bridge

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As of yesterday, 50 years have passed since the completion of Kanmon bridge, which connects this town and the other side, Shimonoseki.

Even after half century, the beautiful bridge is still entertaining our guests and also myself.

We wish the bridge will keep brightening for more years and years from now on.

一番お気に入りの橋

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

５０年前の昨日11月14日、この町と対岸の下関とをつなぐ関門橋が完成・開通しました。

半世紀経ってなお、ゲストさんたちを、そして自分自身をも楽しませてくれているきれいな橋。

これからもずっと輝き続けてほしいと願います。

近所(?)の温泉 行ってきました！/ The only ONSEN in the area!

The only ONSEN in the area!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As I have seen SENTO (public bath) scene on TV almost everyday,

I cannot help thinking about SENTO.

So I went to the only ONSEN (hot spring) SENTO in this KANMON area!

I could not take picture of their bath room, but you can see many cars parking around the SENTO, even on the street.

Yes, there were many people enjoying the ONSEN more than I imagined.

And I found Hangul notice board at their entrance.

Yes, I remember that there is Korean town near the ONSEN.

I should tell our guests who like ONSEN about this ONSEN-SENTO.

I visited the ONSEN drawn to their campaign this time, but I think that it is a nice spot to visit, when we go the the other side of the strait.

近所(?)の温泉 行ってきました！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

最近なぜか日本のテレビでは毎日のように銭湯のシーンが流れるので、

銭湯好きの血が騒ぎ、行ってきました

ここ関門エリア 唯一の温泉銭湯に！

さすがに浴室の写真はとれませんでしたが、路上にも溢れる車を見て分かるように、想像以上に賑わっていました。

そして入り口にはハングルの表示も！

そうだ、近くには韓国街もあるエリアだということを思い出しました。

温泉好きのゲストさんたちにも教えてあげないと、、、

今回はまんまとキャンペーンにつられて訪ねてみましたが、これからも対岸に渡る際には立ち寄りたいスポットです。（抽選当たるといいなぁ。）
