Garbage from an unknown places

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Last week, my friends invited me to join their activity “Beach Clean Walk” on the local beach in this town.

The beach is a surf point only on typhoon day.

I walked around the shore with garbage bag, not a surfboard, Unexpectedly I did concentrated gathering garbage and my bag would become full in a few hours.

During the event, I did learn a lot of things. For example:

* Not like west coast of the town, which faces to Sea of Japan, there is few garbages from foreign countries on this east coast, which faces to Seto Inland Sea.

* In the garbage, there were more plastic bottles than plastic backs supplied by supermarkets.

* I found many disposable surgical masks on the beach, because of recent infection.

They are just garbage, but I learned a lot of things from them in 2 hours. That was very good event not only physically but also mentally.

名も知らぬ遠き国より、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

先週の話。お世話になっている方から、地元のビーチクリーンウォークに誘われて出かけてきました。

台風の時には、いい波が立つポイントです。

今回はゴミ袋を持って、海岸線を往復しました。意外と作業に集中してしまい、あっという間にゴミ袋はいっぱいになりました。

そんなゴミを拾いながら気付いたことも少なくありません。たとえば、、、

・東岸（瀬戸内海側）は西岸（日本海側）とはちがって海外からの漂着ゴミが少ないこと。

・レジ袋よりは圧倒的にペットボトルや漁具ゴミの方が多いこと。

・最近のご時世を反映してか、使い捨てマスクのゴミが多かったこと、などなど。

たかがゴミ、されどゴミ、ゴミからいろんなことを学んだ２時間でした。身体にも心にもいいイベントでした。
