After rain comes Rainbow!

I might be because of the typhoon, thunderhead cloud became so high. And it started rain.

After the rain, we saw rainbow between the clouds.

I went back to get my camera, but color of rainbow was faded, when I was ready to take photo.

Thank you and you have a nice and colorful (like rainbow) day.

(* About the forecasted course of typhoon, we are worrying about families living in semi-underground.)

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

台風の影響でしょうか、入道雲が大きく立ち上がり、サッと雨が降りました。

その後、雲間に虹が現れました。

慌ててカメラを取りに行ったのですが、カメラを構えた時には色薄くなってしまいました。

それでは、虹色の素敵な一日を！

（＊台風の進路、、、半地下の皆さんの安否が心配ですね。）

Is it because I am aged?!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is the week after OBON holiday. We heard the name of beach we haven’t heard in a long time from young guests from this prefecture, Fukuoka.

One of the most popular summer spots around here is “TSUNOSHIMA”. According to them, there was no traffic jams around Tsunoshima and the beach was not crowded.

Before I say that it is good to visit, they told us that they moved to another beach, because there is not many people in beaches in Tsunashima. They went to “DOIGAHAMA” beach.

“Doigahama” is the popular beach where naughty local people around here have been there at least once.

But I have never been there since I came back to my hometown. (Though I have passed the beach many times.)

I have not felt attractive to the beach with many people any more.

I prefer beaches with more waves than people.

Is this because of aging?

歳を重ねるということでしょうか？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

お盆明けの週です。県内からご利用いただいた若いゲストと話をしていると懐かしい地名が出てきました。

このあたりでは夏一番のスポットと言えば「角島」、、、彼らによればお盆とは異なり、渋滞もなく、角島のビーチは人もまばらだったとのこと。

それは良かったねと言おうと思ったら、人が少ないから、人の多い「土井ヶ浜」の方で海水浴を楽しんできたということでした。

土井ヶ浜、、、このあたりが地元のやんちゃな人間であれば、一度は行ったことあるビーチでしょう。

でも、、、自分は戻ってきてから一度も行っていません。（よく前は通り過ぎるのですが、、、）

なんかもう人の多いビーチには魅力を感じなくて、、、

今、魅力があるのは、人よりも波のほうが多いビーチです。

Very Very Sorry!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is in the middle of summer here in Kanmon.

There are too many beautiful beach around this area to decide where to go today.

Yesterday, I thought one thing, watching one of the beautiful beaches.

Now, one Japanese huge bulk ship is stranded on Indian Ocean and spilled heavy oil by that accident is contaminating beautiful coastline, mangrove beach and coral reefs in the island of Mauritius.

We have had a guest whose home country is the island of beautiful beaches.

And the stranded ship might go through the strait in front of this guesthouse.

We cannot stop feeling sorry about the accident.

We do hope that our country Japan and related companies make quick and adequate action and that will recover the beautiful beach from oil contamination ASAP.

とっても申し訳ないことになってしまいました

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

真夏の関門です。

この近辺にはきれいなビーチがたくさんあって、夏はどこのビーチに行こうか悩むほどです。

そんなきれいなビーチを見ながら考えました。

今、日本の大型船がインド洋で座礁し、そのせいで海外の美しいサンゴ礁、ビーチ、マングローブの海岸線が重油で汚染されています。

実は当宿では、その美しい島国が出身のゲストさんにご利用いただいたことがあるんです。

そして、きっと座礁した船は眼前の関門海峡を通過したことがあるんだろうと思います。

なんかとても申し訳ないと思えて仕方ありません。

我が国と事故の関係者とが迅速かつ誠意ある対応を実施し、一日も早くゲストさんの出身国の海が元あったきれいな状態に戻ることを願ってやみません。
