Now, we are in July, perfect summer!
We mentioned in last article that public swimming pool open today. But what start here today is not only swimming pool.
Another service is this!
Tokyo – Kyushu Ferry start servicing today. Their first voyage shoulders the burden of related all people’s expectations.
Because this guesthouse has good access to Shinmoji Port, we also expect new guests who came here by this ferry boat after the pandemic will be over.
Not like other ferries which use Seto inland sea route, this ferry boat is scheduled to arrive at Shinmoji Port 21:00. It may be convenient for the passengers to stay in this town, Moji, one night and leave for each destination the next morning. Our guesthouse may be good place for the guests who concern about safe stay with reasonable cost for just sleeping one night.
From the view of ferry travel fun, the access between Yokosuka Port and Mid town Tokyo may be a little inconvenient. But there can be is a time-saving plan that we drive after work to Yokosuka, board on the ferry and arrive at Kyushu on the next day.
As reservation site seemed to have a problem 2 days ago, we worried about their operation. But now we can blouse it and found that not a few pet owners may have interest for using this boat.
The most important factor for survival of this route may be the constant use of cargo trucks. Personally, I want them to keep this ferry route, because I may use this for my dual lives transportation between Tokyo and Moji.

始まる！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
さぁ７月。夏です！
市民プールのことを記事にしましたが、今日から始まるのはプールだけではありません。
そのひとつがこちら！
東京ー新門司航路、本日就航です！ 関係者の期待を一身に集めての船出です。
当宿は新門司港とのアクセスも良い（車・バス＆JR）ので、コロナ明けにはフェリー利用者の宿泊も期待したいところです。
瀬戸内航路のフェリーと異なり、九州上陸時間が２１時なので、わが町門司で一泊したのち、九州各地に旅立つプランが便利そうです。安心に寝るだけなら、時間的にも、コスト的にも、当宿はちょうどよいかもしれません。
フェリー旅好きの視点でみると、横須賀側の首都圏アクセスが気になるところです。仕事終わりに横須賀まで飛ばして乗船、翌日には九州、という使い方もありかも。
客室予約は２日前の時点でサイトに障害があったりして心配しましたが、、、空席情報からみると、どうもペット愛好家の関心を集めているように感じられます。
航路存続の要は貨物トラックの通常利用でしょうか。 個人的にはデュアルライフ拠点間の交通手段のオプションとして有効なので、末永く営業してもらいたいですね。。
