The Japanese Summer!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On the previous article, we talked about a Japanese cultural event “OBON”.

OBON’s special/popular event in Kanmon area is Fireworks Festival.
Unfortunately, the festival was canceled, because of COVID-19 infection.

But I saw many people gathering around piers in the night of August 13th and

Surprising fireworks were launched there. Fireworks were launched from not only one place but also several places.

It was very short show, about 10min, but we could enjoy the Japanese Summer very much.

にっぽんの夏！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

前回、日本のお盆について話題にしましたが、、、

ここ関門のお盆といえば、関門海峡大花火大会です。
残念ながら今年は新型コロナウイルスの感染のために開催は中止となってしまいました。

ところが、例年の開催日である８月１３日の夜、やけに海岸に人が集まっていると思ったら、、、

それも海峡のあちらこちらで！

ほんの１０分ほどの短い時間でしたが、にっぽんの夏を満喫できたひと時でした。

As weather was not good, I stayed here and calculate expenses of last drive to/from Tokyo.

On the way to/back from Tokyo, I tried to use normal road rather than toll express road* and the cheapest gas station of each area. But I noticed that GS of this Kanmon area is the cheapest during my trip.

(*Toll of express road in Japan is expensive and we have to pay every time we drive through exit. Furthermore GS in service area in express road sells 10% more expensive gas to drivers.)

Please visit here Kanmon after moving ban and will fill up your car with gasoline here.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

天気が良くないので出かけずに、先の東京行きの費用を集計していて気付きました。

行き帰りの道中、できるだけ下道で、できるだけ安いところで給油しようと務めていたのですが、よく考えるとココ地元が一番安いってことに！

（日本の高速道路は乗り降りに制限があり、高速道路内サービスエリアのGSはだいたい１割増しなので）

移動解禁にあわせて、どうぞみなさん関門へ遊びに来て下さい。そしてココで満タンにして帰ってくださいね。
（戻ってきたばかりの頃に比べると少し上がってきました。急がないと！）

Summer is in the air!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We are in July now. It is the time to enjoy Summer.

I made phone call and checked that it will open TODAY as usual year.

It is my favorite spot of summer in Kanmon.

They instructed me that we should bring and wear musk at pool side, but I know that there are quite few people on weekday.

But I am wondering which to go today.

Yesterday, when I finished applying various benefits and subsidy to government office, I decided to drive to the beach.

And I am sure they are still remaining this morning.

OK. Anyway water is same from same sea whichever I go.

There are fascinating spots in my hometown during hot summer.

さぁ、夏本番！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

７月です。夏です！

電話で確認したところ、例年通り今日からオープンするそうです。

関門、夏のお気に入りスポット。

持ち物にマスクが加わるだけで、元々三密とはほど遠い感染対策万全の素晴らしい環境です。

でも、、、どっち行こうかな？

各種の給付金や助成金の申請が終わった昨日、その足で行ってみたらけっこうこっちが良かったんです。

ずっと穏やかな状態が続いてて、久しぶりに昨日 波が立ったんです。

どうも今日まで残っているみたいだし、、、

ま、いっか、どっちいっても、、、おんなじ海の水なわけだしね！

夏になると、ホットで魅力的な誘惑が多いこの町／我がふるさとです。
