Happy but Sorry!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Feeling Happy, but sorry very much.
I sometimes feel like that here.
Surprisingly TOUKA sometimes get media interviews,
in spite of such a small inn we are.
Sure, it is very thankful for us, but
there is one thing we feel sorry about interviewing.
Whenever we got proposal of getting interview,
I propose back to the staff to stay in TOUKA before interview.
However it has never happened yet.
*What made you come back to hometown and open guesthouse?
*Why did you choose Komorie for the location?
*How you run this guesthouse in future?
They asked us similar questions most of the time.
There are answers here with out asking and they can feel them by staying one night here.
It is my personal opinion that this is similar to
Grommet report without tasting the food,
Driving impression without driving the car, and
Refused man’s feeling without dating even one time.
I don’t think that this is my misunderstanding.
This is not like Peninsula or Hilton, and it costs like about 3,000JPY to stay one night. We are hoping the day will come that one media come to stay night(s) and make one short program, based on the feeling using all five senses during their stay here.

うれしいけれど、とても残念なこと
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
うれしいけれど、すごく残念、、、
時折、そんな微妙な感覚を味わうことがあります。
驚くことに「灯火」はこんなにちいさい宿にもかかわらず、
まれにメディアの取材を受けることがあります。
それはとてもありがたいことなのですが、、、
一つだけとても残念なことがあります。
取材の話が出るたびに、当宿のことを正しく知っていただくためにも、一度泊まってみませんか、と提案しているのですが、未だかつて実現したことはありません。
*どういう想いで、Uターンして開業したのか、
*なぜ小森江という地を選んだのか、
*これからどういう宿にしていきたいのか、
聞かれる質問は、いつもほぼほぼ似かよっています。
けれども、ここに泊まっていただければ、これは聞かなくとも感じることのできることばかりです。
自分が思うに、コレって、
食べることなく食レポされてる料理の気分 や
運転することなくドライブインプレッション書かれる車の気分 や
一度もデートすることなく見切られてしまう可哀想な男の気分、
に似ているなぁと感じるのは、
決して思い過ごしではないように思えて仕方ありません。
ペニンシュラやヒルトンならともかく、たかだか一泊3,000円程度の安宿。一度泊まってみて五感で感じる宿（宿主）の個性を素直に取材いただく機会が、この先いつか訪れることを祈願しています。
それでは、どうぞ学びや体験をうわべだけで理解するのではなく、しっかり噛み締めて飲み込む そんな身になる人生を！
