This world is basically unfair
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In human society, “fairness” is always affirmed, while “unfairness” is always frowned upon…
However, whenever I have seen the towns hit by natural disasters, I always felt a strong sense of unfairness.
In the town hit by the tsunami…
There was absolutely no damage above this road, but I heard that many people lost their lives below.
In the town hit by the tornado…
Houses and agricultural greenhouses in the area were completely destroyed, but five meters away there was no damage whatsoever.
I thought how unfair it was!
However, if we think about it carefully, “fair” is rare in the natural world; most things are “unfair.”
Even in the same Shizuoka Prefecture, and facing the same ocean, good waves kept coming in another town, as if tornadoes didn’t matter to them at all.
In the natural world and in natural disasters, where “unfairness” is the norm, I made it a point to be careful not to become an unfair victim, especially when it comes to life.

とかくこの世は不公平
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
人間社会では、常に肯定される「公平」、常に厭わまれる「不公平」、、、
けれども、自然災害に見舞われた町を見るにつけ、不公平だなと強く感じます。
津波に襲われた町では、、、
この道より高台はまったく被害なし、でも下側では何人も命を失くしたと聞き、
竜巻に襲われた町では、、、
この一角だけ家も農業用ハウスも滅茶苦茶、でも５m先は全く被害なし。
なんて不公平なんだろう、と思いました。
しかしながら、よく考えてみれば、自然界では「公平」な方が稀で、大概のことが「不公平」です。
同じ静岡県でも、同じ海に面していても、別の町では竜巻なんてどこ吹く風？という感じで、繰り返しいい波が押し寄せていました。
「不公平」が基本の自然界や自然災害にあって、こと命についてだけは、不公平な被災者とならないように気をつけたいと、肝に銘じました。
それでは、この世の不公平を生きて乗り切る素敵な一日を！
