New Year Day in Kanmon

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We thought that this new year started under calm climate,

however we got sudden disaster alert.

A Tsunami warning was also issued for Haedomari Port in Shimonoseki on the opposite coast.

As the result, the Tsunami hasn’t come in to this strait.

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to those affected by the disaster.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

穏やかな気候で始まった、と思った新年ですが、

夕方には突然災害アラートが！

なんと対岸下関の南風泊港にも津波の注意報が出ていました。

結局、この関門海峡には津波は入ってこなかったようですが、

被災された方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

Damage situation

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Saturday, news about heavy rain in whole western area had been broadcasted whole day.

After we confirmed that heavy rain and landslide warnings have been lifted, we checked around this neighborhood.

Fortunately, we could not find any serious damage in the neighbor, but a little far area around my parents house, we see rocks and sands was flowing on the street.

What we could found out was like these and we felt reserved.

今回の被害

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

土曜日、朝から西日本の豪雨についてのニュースが終日報道されていました。

豪雨や土砂災害の警報が解除されたのを確認して、ご近所エリアの被害状況を見ました。

幸い宿の近隣では被害は見受けられませんでしたが、少し離れた場所、実家の周辺では土砂が流れ出ていたのを確認しました。

目についた地域の被害はこのくらいで、今のところ2018年の豪雨と比べても被害の程度は小さくて、ホッと一息、良かったと思いました。

Looking for the third one!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have enjoyed dual location life for 5 years.

After considering new lifestyle, risk of infectious disease like COVID-19 and unpredictable natural disaster, I started thinking having the third base and have looked for another place, utilizing free time without guests.

I have already report a little about it in some articles. Actually, I left here before this Fukuoka pref. declared state of emergency.

三つ目を探して！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

二拠点生活を初めて５年目に入りました。

生活スタイルやCOVID19感染症、未知の自然災害のことなども考慮して、もうひとつ拠点が欲しいと考えて、ゲストのない期間を活用して全国を回っています。

すでに少しだけ記事にしてしまいましたが、今回はここ福岡県が緊急事態宣言下におかれる前に出発しました。
