Yellow Impulse

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I reported about Sakura blooming condition of this town in the last article.

But Sakura (Cherry Blossom) is not only beautiful one in this town now.

Vivid yellow is shining in front of red brick warehouses which can be seen from the platform of our Komorie station.

They are fully blooming and now is the best timing to see them.

How about getting off the train or stopping your car to watch them in this town?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

先の記事でわが町、小森江の桜の状態を紹介しましたが、

この時期、この町できれいなのは桜だけではありません。

小森江駅のプラットホームからも見える赤レンガ倉庫前が黄色に輝いています。

今まさに満開で見頃です。

電車を途中下車して、ちょっと車を停めて、見に来ませんか？

宣言決定！/ Declaration was decided!

Declaration was decided!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was declaration, but not emergency declaration about COVID-19.

Yesterday, on Monday with warm temperature and no wind, I went to the nearest small park.

I could find a lot of small pink bud around the park.

When I felt disappointed that there were any blossoms yet, I found something white on the tree of most mountain side.

Yes, they were SAKURA, cherry blossoms. I could count 7 blossoms totally.

So I do make an announcement that the cherry trees in KOMORIE are in bloom.

宣言決定！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

宣言とはいっても、緊急事態宣言ではありません。

風も弱く、ぽかぽか陽気の月曜日、近くのちいさな公園に行ってみると、、、

ピンクの蕾がたくさん見られました。

あと少しじゃんと思った時に、一番山手の木に白いものを見つけました。

あっ、咲いてました！ 健気ながら、、、合わせて７輪ほど。

というわけで、ここ小森江地区の桜開花、宣言します。（勝手に、笑）

青空への階段 / Stairway to the blue sky

Stairway to the blue sky

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Recently in Kanmon area, gets cold in the morning and evening, but it is quite warm with sunshine in daytime.

That warm weather makes me go out for walking sometimes.

This is one of my favorite walking spot in 15min from TOUKA. It is wonderful specially under autumn clear sky.

I do love the views from the top of the stairs.
In sea side view, I can see several layers of landscape which are near side hill, downtown/industrial area, background mountains and so on. These makes me feel strange with strong perspective effect.

In mountain side view, I feel that the mountain is approaching with vivid blue sky as background.

The city of Kitakyushu is known as industrial city however it has plenty of nature too. We want you to try real Kitakyushu.

青空への階段

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

最近の関門エリア、朝晩は冷えるも、日が昇ってくると意外とポカポカ陽気です。

そんな陽気にさそわれて、近所を散歩する午前中が増えました。

なかでもココは宿から１５分ぐらいのお気に入りのお散歩スポット、秋晴れの朝は最高です。

この階段の上からの景色がなんか好きです。
海側の風景は手前の丘、街・工業地帯、背景にそびえる山が、レイヤーになっているようで、遠近法が効いて不思議な感じす。

山側の風景は抜けるような青空をバックに山が迫ってくるようです。

工業都市のようで、実は自然がいっぱいの北九州、一度探索してみませんか？
