Pageant of Lights in Kanmon?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
After posting about light-up of KOKURA castle, I remember Lighting Show held last weekend. So I post about it.
It was … “KANMON Projection Mapping”.
This event was unusually prepared with both side “KAN (Shimonoseki)” and “MON (Moji Kitakyushu)”. Totally 24 shows are provided at 2 site in 2 days (6 times a day).
I could see both side (Shimonoseki, Moji) show by using “Clover Ticket” I posted about few days ago.

My honest impression after two show was:
*The stories of projection didn’t match the characteristics of this area.
*People are predictable about Projection Mapping.”
*Not so much exciting chat could be heard after each show.”
(New year eve’s fireworks is much better.)
*Comparably Moji side is better, because of building is much better”
(Historical red-brick building vs Wall of parking lot)
(It may be better on the wall of Aquarium.)
*It was disappointed with seeing last picture, future of Kanmon”
(It is quite different from the way we should be.)

関門 光のページェント？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
小倉城ライトアップを記事にしたところで、最近開催された光のショーのことを思い出し記事に書き起こします。
そのショーとは、、、
「関門プロジェクションマッピング」
珍しく「関（下関）」と「門（門司）」とが連携して開催された一大、いえいえ二大 光のページェント。
3月18日・19日の二日間、各六回づつ計12回、関門の両会場を合わせると24回公演されたことになります。
先に紹介した「関門海峡 クローバーきっぷ」で海峡を周遊した際に、このイベントが開催されていて、下関側・門司側 両方のショーを見ることが出来ました。

同日、二つのショーを見て率直な感想は、、、
＊プロジェクションのストーリー性が土地の持つ特性に合致していない。
＊そもそもプロジェクションマッピング自体に目新しさがなくなっている。
（そのため見物客も両会場ともに多いとは言えませんでした。）
＊ショー後の見物客の反応もイマイチ。
（大晦日の小規模花火のほうがウケてました。花火等と比較して投資対効果があってさえいれば良いとは思いました。）
＊全般的に両方同じ構成の中で比較すると、門司側の方がスクリーンとなっている建物が良い分、インパクトがありました。（赤レンガの歴史的建造物 vs 駐車場の壁？）
（水族館の壁なら良かったかも。見物スペースが厳しいけれど）
＊最後に投影された関門の未来予想図が現実とかけ離れすぎていて幻滅した。
（“そうありたい姿”とも違うと感じました。）
（両岸の高層ビル群が老人施設を意味しているならあり得るのかも。）
