Now, we are getting on the important stage!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Just before the Golden Week. my parents received one for each letter for vaccination reservation.
So on the same day, I visited their house and made reservation through internet, on behalf of them.

This week, group vaccination for senior citizens start this week in this city.
My parents are planning to get it in next weekend.

Today is the Mother’s Day.
Have your parents/grand parents finished vaccination yet, made reservation for vaccination?

P.S. I wonder when I will get the shot???

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ゴールデンウィーク直前に、両親へワクチン接種券が届きました。
実家に行って、即日代行でネット手続き、申し込み予約しました。

今週から、ようやくこの町でも始まります！
自分の両親はこの週末に接種予定です。

今日は「母の日」！
みなさんの親御さん・祖父母は接種完了しましたか？予約済みましたか？

It was the father’s day on Sunday. What did you do for your father?

As I saw an traffic accident on the road, I visited my parent’s house and ask my father to take care about both health and traffic accident. Of course without any present.

After I came back to my hometown, it get very easy to visit my parent’s house. That is pretty good thing for me.

自分は、たまたま道で事故を見かけたこともあり、実家を訪れ、健康と交通事故には気をつけてね、とまだ運転をしている父に伝えてきました。もちろん手ぶらで、、、

故郷にUターンして、実家が近くなり、ちょっとしたことで「帰省」できるのは良かった、と感じています。

住みたい町、移住したい町！ / Best town to Live, Best town to Move-in!

Best town to Live, Best town to Move-in!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This weekend, a mayor of the big city in this prefecture was proud of his city’s “Easy to Live” aspect in a TV program.

The city is remarkable about growth of population, specially that of young generations. Because the country, Japan, is now struggling with reducing its population in general.

On the contrary, another big city in this prefecture, our city of Kitakyushu, cannot prevent its population from reducing everyday.

However, there is No.1 in Kitakyushu too.

“No.1 city to move in for the people over 50 years old”

I remember a news I saw last summer!

Wow, what a nice title!

One is for young generation, the other is for over 50.
I don’t think young people want to stay in the later.

Yes, I am the one of people who move (back) to Kitakyushu.

This phenomenon can be a temporary measure but…
we will become senior citizens soon.

Thank you and you have a nice the rest of life in the riviera of old people.

住みたい町、移住したい町！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この週末、民放のTV番組にこちらの県のとある政令指定都市の市長サンが出演して、彼の町の住みやすさを自慢していました。

たしかに人口減少の我が国にあって、異例とも言える人口増加を遂げていて、特に若者層の転入が著しい状況には目を見張るものがあります。

対して、同じ県にあるもう一つの政令指定都市、我らがCity of Kitakyushu、人口減少にブレーキがかかりません。

でもね、、、自慢できるナンバーワンもあるんです。

「５０歳から住みたい地方ランキング全国１位」
らしいです、、、ここ北九州市！！

昨年の夏頃、ニュースで見たことを思い出しました。

それにしても、片や若者、片や５０歳以上。
これでは若者からは敬遠されるかもしれませんね。

かくいう自分自身も、全国一位は知りませんでしたが、
東京から、ここ郷土北九州にUターンしてきた一人だったりします。

一時的に人口減少の対策になるとしても、すぐに高齢者比率UPですね。

それでは、どうぞ１５年後は高齢者のリビエラで素敵な余生を！
（冗談抜きで「天国に一番近い場所」になっちゃうかも、、ですよ。）
