Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Wednesday this week, Mt. Aso erupted in Kumamoto which locates in our same island, Kyushu.

Recently in Japan, a big earthquake occurred in Tokyo and other small earthquakes, those are never broadcasted in foreign countries, also have occurred frequently. So we can’t help but think that crustal activity is very active in Japan.

Earthquake and volcano giant, Japan, whose former common title was economic giant!

Fortunately, there is no active volcano near this guesthouse TOUKA. neither earthquake rarely occurs here.

However there is one thing I’m taking the most care about volcanic eruption and disaster.

The volcanic eruption, both I and Japanese don’t want to happen the most is. Yes, Mt. Fuji eruption!

Because I drive to/from Tokyo several times a year and I always stop by area around the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Now I learned volcanic hazardous area. So I decide to avoid staying overnight in such area.

Heaven helps those who help themselves! No worries if being conscious of the risk!

自助・共助・公助の順がいちばんあてはまる事象

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週水曜日、九州の活火山阿蘇が噴火しました。

最近日本では、東京で結構大きな地震が起こったり、他にも海外では報道されないような地震がいくつも発生していて、地殻活動が活発です。

経済大国あらため、まさに火山大国・地震大国！

幸いなことに当宿の周辺には活火山がなくて、地震もほぼ起きることはありません。

けれども、火山噴火災害で気をつけていることがひとつあります。

自分にとっても、日本国民にとっても、一番起きてほしくない火山の噴火といえば、、、そう、富士山噴火です。

年数回の東京との行き来の途中で、これまでもこれからも、富士山山麓や周辺に滞在することがあるからです。

今回、富士山周辺の危険エリアが分かったことで、そうしたエリアでのオーバーナイトステイはしないことにしました。

天は自ら助くる者を助く！ 意識あれば憂いなし！
