Step up toward freedom!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Today May 14th, Japanese government is planning to announce some change of emergency declaration about COVID-19 infection.

It seems that big cities like Tokyo and Osaka will be kept in emergent situation, but Fukuoka prefecture, where this guesthouse belongs to, will be out of emergency declaration.

We still have to refrain from unnecessary going out but this is one step toward normal condition.

Let’s expand our territory of each activity with taking care about infection.

How about going to the beach with less people than town or parks for your necessary exercise?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では今日５月１４日新型コロナウイルス感染についての緊急事態宣言が見直される予定です。

東京や大阪など大都市は引き続き緊急事態状態を継続するようですが、当宿のある福岡県は緊急事態が解除されることになりそうだということです。これにより、ほとんどの業種での休業要請も解除される運びになりました。

不要不急の外出等は継続するとのことですが、これで一歩、通常状態に近づきます。

晴れて緊急事態宣言解除、各人で感染に気をつけながら、少しだけ活動の範囲を広げましょう。

不要不急に当たらない運動の場に、三密ではないビーチはいかがでしょう。

Zero in 13 consecutive days!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

According to TV news, the city of Kitakyushu has had zero new infected person in 13 consecutive days, as of Tuesday.

(photo is Monday’s one. It seems no upload in WEB news and we hope zero new infection get something natural.)

If zero today, it will be 14 consecutive days.

Let us prepare various thing for our re-start!

１３日間連続ゼロ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ニュースによれば、火曜の時点で北九州での新型コロナウイルスの新規感染者は１３日間連続でゼロとなったそうです。

（画像は月曜日のもの。Webニュースの更新はないようで、ゼロが当たり前になったのかな？）

今日もゼロなら２週間連続です。

さあ「再開」に向けていろいろと準備しなきゃ！

夜霧よ今夜も有難う / Thank you again foggy tonight

Thank you again foggy tonight

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Heavy rain stopped before Tuesday morning and there was no rain in daytime. But it was a kind of humid whole day.

After getting dark, that climate created deep and deep foggy night.

Fog was so thick that we could not see any lights from the other side of the strait, which is only 1km far from here.

In such night, there is one body who works very hard.

The lighthouse next to this guesthouse keep lighting one direction toward the strait without blinking nor looking away.

That make us imagine the lighthouse is showing blight direction for the people in this country who lose sight of their target in the chaos of COVID-19 after the state of emergency extension.

Thank you and you have a nice day, being strong under government’s request of self-restraint.

夜霧よ今夜も有難う

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

雨上がりの火曜日。昼間ほとんど雨は降りませんでしたが、なんとなく蒸す感じ。

それが夜になると、深い深〜い霧になりました。

１kmちょい先の対岸の光がまったく見えないほどです。

そんな夜にがんばっているのが、当宿上の灯台。

海峡の一点に向って明るい光を放射し続けています。

その姿はまるで新型コロナと緊急事態宣言の延長決定に行き先を見失った日本人に希望の光を灯すかのようです。

それでは、自粛要請ニモマケズ、素敵な一日を！
