Kanmon Straits in rain

I’ve mentioned about the daytime scenery of the rainy season, when visibility is restricted by thick clouds, but…

the truth is, it’s even more beautiful at night.

The sight of the tower’s illuminations, with its head hidden in the clouds, floating dimly in the darkness is indescribable.

Why not try spending a night in the rainy Kanmon area?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

雨の関門海峡

立ち込めた雲で視界が制限される昼間の梅雨の景色について書きましたが、、、

実のところ、夜の方が魅力的なんです。

雲の中に頭を隠したタワーのイルミネーションがぼんやりと闇に浮かぶ様子はなんとも言えない光景です。

雨の関門エリアで一晩過ごしてみませんか？

Here come the downpour!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We are still having unstable weather here in Kanmon area.

If we change our point of view a little, it can be interesting to look out over that weather.

As of Thursday, we no longer had long heavy rain but we still had sudden downpour intermittently.

But when we looked out over the rain curtain, it could be mystical very much.

ゲリラ豪雨がやって来る ザァ!ザァ!ザァ!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

まだまだ不安定な天気の続くここ関門エリア。

ある意味居直って、そのお天気を見学してみるのも楽しかったりします。

木曜日、長雨はなくなりましたが、突然どっと降ってはすぐに止む土砂降りが時折やってきます。

ここから見ているとその雨のカーテンが迫ってくるのがなんとも幻想的だったりします。

Landscape with a lighthouse

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is a landscape which I saw during my checking out trip but not at secret spot.

It is ordinary view that everyone can see, but I don’t think many people stopped here and watch this.

Not-good performance of my camera and mist of seawater created by big waves made the whole scene foggy and fantastic. Lighthouse lover like me absolutely love this.

Because any lighthouse is useless under fine blue sky.

Lighthouses are precious in the circumstances like this rough sea.
TOUKA want to be like this lighthouse for our guests/future guests.

灯台のある風景

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

こちらは下見した中で、シークレットでもなんでもない、誰にでも見ることのできる風景です。

ただ、ココで立ち止まって見る人はあんまりいない構図だと思います。

カメラの性能が良くないのと、大波で巻き上げられた潮の粒子とが、風景全体を曇らせて幻想的にしています。灯台好きにとっては、こういうのがたまりません。

なぜなら晴れた青空の下では、灯台は不要の長物だからです。

こんな海だからこそ灯台の意味がある、そんな光景でした。
「灯火」もゲストにとってそんな存在でありたいと思います。
