Enjoying Dual Location Life – Fukuoka & Saga

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have looked back pictures I took in this autumn and simultaneously I remember wonderful people whom I met in the same period.

The people I have met in this autumn were not only wonderful people but also the people enjoying own unique lifestyle. Conversation with them have inspired myself, the manager of TOUKA who has an eccentric character.

One guest who stayed here in one night in November was so-called baby boomer generation, and she said that she had joined student movements that time.

She is still hot even now and enjoying dual location life between med-town Fukuoka and country side of Saga communicating with young generations. It seems that she is fully enjoying her life and her big smile tells us how wonderful her life is.

I was so interested in her country life in Saga. I made promise to visit her Saga site and make myself excited about it.

Dual location living is the lifestyle I have recommended to my friends. Now I am realizing there is various dual lives. I do recommend dual location living with many advantages, specially in current COVID-19 pandemicsituation.

Dual location livings are all different and that’s what makes us very happy!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

2020年の秋に撮った画像を見返していると、出会った素敵な人達のことも思い出します。

この秋にお会いした方々は、素敵というだけでなく、とてもユニークなライフスタイルを楽しまれていて、変わり者の「灯火」宿主も大いにインスパイアされました。

11月のある日、この宿を利用されたゲストさんは、いわゆる団塊の世代、若い頃には学生運動にも傾倒されたというとてもホットな方でした。

その心は今なお熱いままで、福岡市内の高齢者用住宅と佐賀県にある古民家とのデュアルライフを通して、若い世代とも交わりながら思いっきり人生を謳歌されているという生き方と底抜けの笑顔にとっても刺激を受けました。

佐賀での田舎生活に興味を持ったので、近いうちにお邪魔することを約束して、とてもワクワクしています。

自分も実践しながら、友人知人に推奨しているデュアルライフ、、、いろんなスタイルがあるなぁと実感します。単なる移住とは違って、いいとこ取りのデュアルライフ、コロナ禍にこそオススメです。

I saw very helpful information and easy explanation about infection presentation measures and their priority about in the Wednesday morning TV news.

After watching the program, I could understand that most important thing is the measure against droplet infection. At the same time, I recognized that our new accommodation plan since this spring is the right way, which is taking one group’s reservation a day.

Because the most basic measure is to avoid meeting with unspecified number of people, we should avoid dormitory style share room and sharing space like dining or restaurant with other people.

Our one group a day operation is not for each room but for whole this guesthouse. In addition, we don’t take any other guests one day before and after the guest stay. So we can utilize the 2 days for ventilation and disinfection.

Honestly speaking we don’t believe that our government’s political measures will work properly/effectively against 3rd wave of COVID-19 infection. So we provide the lowest infection risk accommodation among all area in Kitakyushu and Kanmon and we keep looking for more effective/better way.

Lately, there are not a few people who don’t watch TV news and who rely on the information through internet. This TV news are also broadcasted in internet. So we want you to refer the information of above TV news and utilize it for structuring your own new protocol with COVID-19 virus.

感染対策・耳寄り情報 〜 新型コロナウイルス

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

水曜日の朝のニュースでこれまでにわかった感染対策のわかりやすい解説とその優先順位が紹介されていました。

「ＮＨＫニュース　おはよう日本」2020/12/3

番組を見てわかったのですが、飛沫感染予防こそが最重要の感染対策で、この春に運用開始した当宿の「一日一組様限定宿泊プラン」は間違っていなかったと再認識しました。

不特定多数の会合を避けることが感染対策の大前提なので、相部屋のドミトリーで他人と一晩密室で過ごすなどもってのほか、カフェ・ダイニングで他人と空間の共有するのもできる限りさけるべきなのです。

当宿では各部屋での限定ではなく、宿全体として「一日一組限定」です。さらに、ゲストが宿泊される前後１日は予約を取らずに換気・消毒に充てています。

正直、今とられている政府の政策では「第３波」が食い止められるかも怪しい状況なので、「灯火」は北九州・関門に滞在される方に少しでも感染リスクの少ない宿泊サービスを提供したいと考え、さらに効果的な対策を採算度外視で模索しています。

今日日、テレビは見ない、情報源はネットオンリーという人も少なくないようです。当該ニュースはネットでも期間限定で配信されています。是非上記を参考にして、ご自身の新しい生活様式づくりにお役立てください。

To know your place!

In the previous article, we talked about things/shops missing from this town.

But there are things/shops which are increasing drastically in this town. They are luxury toast bread specialty shops.

Actually we can see quite similar new shops side by side on the main street.

Personally I don’t like to see such phenomenon that local town imitates culture from Tokyo.
It’s important to know our place.

So we don’t have cafe like guesthouses in big cities.

Let them take care making new trends and we will focus on the local speciality which people in big cities will never be able to get.

実はびっくりするほど増えているものもあるんです。

個人的には、東京の流行りが流れてくる傾向は好きではありません。

当宿もそうした趣向を反映して、たとえば、カフェ等を併設していません。

オシャレは都会に任せて、地方の魅力を発信していきたいですね。
