First time blooming

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It had been raining all day Saturday.

Trees in our garden were quite wet. So I went out to check them and find out small flowers were blooming on the tree which we planted 2 years ago.

Though cold rain made me feel blue, the flower made me feel excited.

We wonder if the tree will bear fruit this year or not.

初めての開花

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

土曜日は一日雨が降り続きました。

当宿の庭の木々もびしょ濡れ。様子を見に庭に出てみると、植えて２年になる木が花をつけているではありませんか？

雨で気分が沈むところ、すこしワクワクしてきました。

今年は身も結ぶかな？

In the calm spring sunlight

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Temperature went up around 16 degree C, so I could clean rooms comfortably.

I found one small boat moving around Ganryu island leaving a wake after it.

I looked closely and It seemed to be a tour boat with several passengers on its deck.

I checked internet and found that there are both scheduled and charter cruise around this strait.

How about enjoying cruising around the strait in the calm spring sunlight?

光のどけき　春の日に

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

気温が上がってきて、気分良く掃除をしていたら、、、

窓の外、巌流島の脇を航跡を残して横切る小型船。

よく見ると、デッキに何人も乗せた遊覧船の様子。

調べてみると、定期便・チャーター便でこのコースをまわる海峡クルーズがあるようです。

ポカポカ陽気の下、海峡をぐるっとクルーズなんてどうでしょう？

花火の聞こえる町 / A town with fireworks

A town with fireworks

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Around this strait, fireworks are often set off at various timing,

such as mid-summer OBON, new year eve and even in the weekend during COVID-19 pandemic, which are surprise fireworks.

And they are sometimes set off during day time.

They are not surprise fireworks, but cerebration of launching ceremony.

A few days ago, a large patrol boat of Japan Coast Guard was launched there.

They have launched huge ferry boat, special spec boats and so on. That shipyard is doing well, isn’t it?

Fireworks enliven the place.

Last evening, they seemed to be busy with rigging work.

花火の聞こえる町

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

お盆に大晦日、そして新型コロナの感染拡大後にはサプライズと、この町では頻繁に花火が上がります。

そして時折昼間にも、景気良く花火の音が聞こえる時があります。

サプライズ花火ではありませんよ。

対岸にある造船所での新造船の進水式です。

つい先日も海上保安庁の大型船が進水されました。

大型フェリーや特殊船舶など次々に造られていて、景気がいいですよね。花火がそれを盛り上げます。

日が落ちた後も進水した船の艤装作業が進められているようです。
