The Japanese Precious Gourmet which Generation Z doesn’t know!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

August 9th is the day when we pray toward south east.

We didn’t pray that typhoon will not come toward here.

It is the day for us to pray for Nagasaki where the atomic bomb was dropped instead of this town, Kitakyushu.

When I visited my parents house, my old mother cooked one Japanese seasonal food and shared it to me.

It was the food that everyone who knows WW2 experienced know.  SUITON.

The most of Generation Z, a hot topic lately, have never eaten it before. Because their grand-parents are Japanese baby boomers, called as children who don’t know war. So there is no one in their family who cook SUITON with remembering terrible days during the war.

We hope people in neighbor countries to know that there are certain generation and their families who regret the war and wish for peace by still eating wartime meal every summer.

Ｚ世代の知らない にっぽんの貴重なグルメ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

８月９日、、、南西方向に向けて祈る日。

台風６号が来ないように祈ったわけではありません。

この町、北九州の代わりに被害にあった長崎に向けて祈りを捧げる日だから。

実家に顔を出すと、年老いた母があるニッポンの食べ物を作ってくれていて、それをいただきました。

戦争を知る世代は皆知っている食べ物、、、すいとんです。

きっと今話題のＺ世代はまず知らない食べ物でしょう。なぜなら彼らの祖父母は「戦争を知らない子供達＝団塊世代」だから。家族の中に戦時中のことを思い、作る人がいないはずです。

日本の中にはこうした戦時中食を毎夏食べることで、戦争を悔やみ・平和を願う日本人世代がいることを近隣諸国の人には知ってもらいたいですね。

それでは、世界平和を祈念する素敵な一日を！
