Only one in the prefecture

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After I introduced SENTO (Japanese style public bath) here which were listed on the magazine,

some TV program reported about SENTO.

Those things are making me feel missing SENTO very much.

Then I reread the magazine and found one old lady whom I know.

In the picture, she is sitting just like I saw several years ago.

She is the owner of the only one SENTO in Okinawa prefecture.

I want to visit the SENTO again, while she is doing well.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

雑誌に掲載された銭湯をこの初秋に尋ねたことを記事にしたら、、、

ちょうど日本では銭湯がテレビで取り上げられたりしていて、

なんかとっても銭湯のことが恋しくなっています。

で、その雑誌を読み返していると、懐かしいおばあの画像を見つけました。

何年も前に見たそのままの姿で腰掛けています。

沖縄県で唯一の銭湯。

おばあが元気なうちにもう一度行きたいなぁ。

他でもがんばってる！ / Another one who is also making effort!

Another one who is also making effort!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Not only the one I introduced in the previous article, there is another one who is making effort.

I didn’t visit there in this trip to Tokyo,

but it is also listed on the magazine. So I introduce it again, which I visited 2021.

I remembered this place, as I heard their dream to reform the second floor to lodging.

I guess that they want to make it like this!

By the way, I got this form for stamping campaign.

I looked it carefully and found out that majority of listed facilities locate on the other side of the strait. So I should go there to collect stamps.

他でもがんばってる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

先に紹介した以外にも、がんぱっているところがあって、、、

今回の二拠点間移動で訪れたわけではありませんが、

かの雑誌にもしっかり取り上げられていたので、2021年に利用したこちらを改めてご紹介。

二階を宿泊スペースにするという話で思い出しました。

きっとこんな施設になるのかな？

そういえば、スタンプ・キャンペーン用紙をもらっていました。

よく見ると対象には、対岸の施設が多い（さらにいうとかなり渋い）ので、スタンプ集めに行ってみようと思います。

What we are visiting now.

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

During transportation between two living bases, I used to visit Japanese traditional castles, but

I felt that it become not so fun for me to see traces of the dominant class.

I have started visiting traces of townspeople’s culture, which is still working now.

Some distinctive facilities were introduced in a magazine published this year,

and that inspired me to visit the facilities that interested me.

Why now?

It is because this may gone sooner of later, like the old lady who managed the facility said that she cannot continue the business once the boiler will be broken.

今だから巡る

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

二拠点間の移動、その途中で以前はその間にお城回りをしていましたが、

なんか過去の支配階級の痕跡を見ても面白くなくなってきて、、、

今は大衆文化を巡るようになりました。

今年発刊されたとある雑誌にインスパイアされて、

その中から気になった施設を巡るようになりました。

なぜ今？

それはこちらのおばあちゃんも言っていましたが、いつなくなってしまうか分からないからです。

もしボイラーが壊れたら修理や取り替えをしても元がとれることはないので、多分廃業するだろうと言っていました。
