No effort of exercising wisdom, but pay money?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
One of very recent news in Japan is that some travel agents gave up discounting of “Go To Travel”* campaign set by the government, because they are running out their budgets allocated by the government in advance.
(*“Go To Travel” is a campaign launched by the Japanese government to promote domestic travel and help local businesses in tourism.)
As the counter measure for this trouble, it was announced that government accelerate / expand planned budget for those agents to keep campaign discount rate for domestic travelers.

However, it is obvious that the root cause of this trouble must be in this program planning and process designing. It is quite pig-ignorant to accelerate / expand the budget without correcting fundamental problem, isn’t it?
We bet that only limited business owners will be able to get major merit and the others will disappear from this industry. Where is “the fairness” which the minister has insisted?
There is no effort to exercise wisdom but they keep paying money, and the money is debt from generation of our children. We are so worried about the direction of this nation.

知恵出さずして、金を出す？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
日本ではごく最近のホットなニュースのひとつに、政府の「Go Toトラベル」の政策に対して、旅行予約の取次を行う旅行代理店のうち、割り振られた予算が尽きそうな代理店がキャンペーン補助額を独自に下げようとしているというなんとも妙な動きがあります。
この問題に対して、政府・国土交通省は割り振り予算の前倒し・拡大で対処すると早速報じられています。

でも、、、冷静に考えると、今起きている問題は施策の企画、もしくは設計上の甘さが引き起こしている現象であって、そうした根本的な問題点を全く見直すことをせず、予算割り振りを前倒し・拡充するだけというのはあまりにも能が無く思えて仕方ありません。
このままだと、きっと良い意味で想定外のコロナ景気に一部の業者だけが沸いて、それ以外は業界から姿を消すしかなくなるという結果に至るのではないでしょうか。大臣のいう「公平性」はいずこに？
知恵を出す努力なくして、金を出す、、、でもその金は子供たち世代の未来の税金、、、国の行く末が案じられる今日このごろです。
