Type of bridges are different, but

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I visited a strait town where I have wanted to go for years.

It was really beautiful town. Type of bridge and size of strait are different but the town and Kanmon has quite similar atmosphere.

I recognized the reason later on the way back from the town.

Both towns are in same national park, “Seto Inland Sea National Park”, even if they locate very far from each other.

It means that there can be more beautiful sceneries in this big park which will be my favorite one in future. I felt excited about it on the way back.

橋は違っても、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

一度行ってみたいと思っていた海峡の町を訪ねました。

本当に美しい町でした。不思議なことに、海峡のスケール、橋のタイプなどまったく違うのに、ここ関門と同じ匂いを感じました。

その町を離れて、運転しながら気が付きました。

ずいぶん距離は離れていますが、同じ瀬戸内海国立公園の中にある町だということを。

ということは、この広い国立公園、まだ見ぬ未来のお気に入りの風景に出会えるかもしれません。そんな期待に胸ふくらます帰り道でした。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The greatest features of this area Kanmon are strait and bridge, but there are similar places in the island country, Japan.

When I visit a town with big bridge, I want to see the bridge. It may be because I am living in a strait town.

As Japanese technology of building bridges is so advanced and artistic, every town with bridge is so beautiful and impressive to me.

The value of the land becomes high with only view of the sea, and it can be more with beautiful strait and a bridge.

橋のある風景

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここ関門エリアの最大の特徴は海峡と橋ですが、島国にっぽんにはよく似た場所があります。

大きな橋がある町を訪れると、ひと目見ておきたいと思うのは、海峡の町で生活しているせいかもしれません。

日本の橋梁技術が芸術的にも優れているせいか、どの町も橋と一体化した景色が美しく印象に残ります。

海が見えるだけでもその土地のポイントは高いのに、そこが海峡で、そこに橋まで架かっているとたまりません。

One aspect of Japan, tourists never know – Experts of staying overnight in their vehicles

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Lately, staying over night in my car during travel around Japan becomes my hobby. Staying in the car is recently gathering attention in Japan, because it is one good measure to escape from risk of infection.

TV programs and weekly magazines start reporting about it. And some guys who said themselves as experts of staying overnight in the cars.

However, I know that there is real experts of it. Do you know it?
(Of course, I am not one of them.)

They are long‐haul truck drivers.

When we stay in my car in the night and we see many of them so often. They are using perfect overnight staying gears, such as window shades of course and I see their special baskets for face facing in the mens room of highway and for bath gears in shower/onsen facilities next to drive-ins. Their baskets seems to be professional gears.

So we recommend to Japanese mass media to focus on them as specially skilled professional of staying overnight in their cars.

Their poor manner of parking their trucks in the space for small cars is fly in the ointment, but it is true that they are the driving force of Japanese economy.

外国人の知らないにっぽん 〜 車中泊のプロ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

なんとなく自分の趣味になりつつある車中泊。コロナウィルス感染拡大もあって、このところさらに注目されているようです。

週刊誌やテレビでも車中泊のエキスパートを名乗る人が手ほどきする場面を見かけるようになってきましたが、、、

この国には真の車中泊のプロとも言える集団がいるのをご存知でしょうか？
（もちろん自分ではありません。）

それは、長距離トラックドライバーたちです。

乗用車で車中泊を続けていると、かならず出くわすのが彼らです。フロントガラスの完璧なカバーなどは当たり前、サービスエリアのトイレに持ち込む洗面用具のバスケットや、たまに見かける入浴施設で使っている道具などをみていると玄人っぽさを感じざるを得ません。

マスコミは筋金入りの車中泊という視点で彼らを取り上げるべきではないかと思います。

深夜になると、小型車の駐車スペースにまで大きなトラックをズラッと駐めるのが玉にキズですが、彼らが日本の産業を物流で支えている事実は間違いありません。
