Step up toward freedom!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Today May 14th, Japanese government is planning to announce some change of emergency declaration about COVID-19 infection.

It seems that big cities like Tokyo and Osaka will be kept in emergent situation, but Fukuoka prefecture, where this guesthouse belongs to, will be out of emergency declaration.

We still have to refrain from unnecessary going out but this is one step toward normal condition.

Let’s expand our territory of each activity with taking care about infection.

How about going to the beach with less people than town or parks for your necessary exercise?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では今日５月１４日新型コロナウイルス感染についての緊急事態宣言が見直される予定です。

東京や大阪など大都市は引き続き緊急事態状態を継続するようですが、当宿のある福岡県は緊急事態が解除されることになりそうだということです。これにより、ほとんどの業種での休業要請も解除される運びになりました。

不要不急の外出等は継続するとのことですが、これで一歩、通常状態に近づきます。

晴れて緊急事態宣言解除、各人で感染に気をつけながら、少しだけ活動の範囲を広げましょう。

不要不急に当たらない運動の場に、三密ではないビーチはいかがでしょう。

The First Star

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I heard that there are some people who are already in Golden Week starting today. Because I want to avoid visiting crowded places, I went out in hurry on Friday. (with thinking that I must start Golden Week today, if I were still a company business man.)
I went out to prepare materials for our new and fun project.

On the way back home, I felt that I want to see the sea. So I stopped at a beach where I don’t usually visit.

It was after sunset on a weekday and there were no people there. Sound of wind and waves is the only BGM during I was watching the first star. (Surprisingly, there was not so dark yet, but it was already at 19:30 in April. Kyushu is absolutely recommended place to live.)

No matter human beings are in the crisis of COVID-19, great nature keep flowing on the earth.

いちばん星

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

噂では、今日から連休になる人もいるらしいので、混雑する中に出かけるのを避けたい一心から、三密にならないよう慌てて金曜日に出かけてきました。
（会社員だった頃なら、絶対に自分もこの土曜から連休にしてただろうなぁと思いながら、、、）
ポストコロナを見据えて、なにか新しくて楽しいことを始めるための「資材調達」です。

その帰り、ふと海が見たくなって、いつもは行かないビーチに立ち寄ってみました。

平日の日没後ということもあり、想像していたとおり人はいません。風と波の音だけが「いちばん星」のBGMです。
（驚きなのは撮影した時間。4月の19:30でこれだけ明るい。やっぱり九州オススメです。

人間社会が新型コロナウイルスに右往左往しているあいだも、大自然の営みは滔々と流れていることを再認識しました。

Area’s capability for self-sufficiency of refreshment

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Do you in foreign countries know that there is a week in Japan which is called “Golden Week”? It is a fancy name, isn’t it? Meaning is a little different but our “Golden Week” holidays are very similar to “Chinese New Year” holidays. It means ethnic migration!

The “Golden Week” will start next week. But coming “Golden Week” is quite different from usual. Yes, it is because of COVID-19.

If we want to go abroad, most of airlines canceled their flights. Even if we could fly somewhere, they will hold us in hotel or some place for about 2 weeks. One week holiday is not enough to go out from the hotel.

Now in Japan, many sightseeing spots are requesting to tourists from out of town “DO NOT COME!” We saw a news that local governments which own most popular beach “Shonan”, Tokyo people’s Riviera, want to close the beaches to shut out people from outside. (I feel very strange, because most of local towns in Japan were struggling to promote themselves to tourists tens of days ago.)

Such phenomenon is also seen around here too.

During once a year, week holidays, no place to go! Everyone in Japan is noticing that area’s capability for self-sufficiency of refreshment is very important from now on.

Another new corona virus may cause next year. And no one can avoid aging which prevents us from going long trip. In this respect, we strongly recommend this place. Don’t you try to stay here? We will do our best to support you.

リフレッシュメント – 自給自足力

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

海外のみなさんは知っているでしょうか、日本にはゴールデンウィークという素敵な名前の週があることを？
意味合いは少し違いますが、その期間で起こることは「春節」に似ています。つまり民族大移動です。

そのゴールデンウィークが始まるのがちょうど来週からです。ところが今年はいつもと様子が違います。そう新型コロナウイルスの存在です。

海外へ行くにも航空会社は運行を辞めているし、仮に飛行機に乗れたとして、到着した先ではどこも２週間程度の監禁が待っているので、外出出来るまでにウィークでは足りません。

日本国内でも観光地がこぞって「よそ者は来るな！」と激しく訴えています。昨日のニュースでは都民のリビエラ「湘南海岸」を持つ自治体が都心から押し寄せる人の流れを心配し、海岸封鎖を求める姿が報道されていました。（つい数十日前では、日本各地でどうやって誘致するか競って悩んでいたのに、なんかとても不思議な気がします。）

そんな光景がこの周辺でも見られるようになりました。

年に一度、春の長期休暇のチャンスなのにどこにも行けないなんて。住んでいる地域のリフレッシュメントの自給自足（地産地消）力が問われる状態ですね。

また新たな感染症が起こるかもしれないし、そもそも歳をとると遠くに行くこと自体が億劫になりますからね。その点、この町は結構オススメです。一度試しに住んでみませんか？当宿あげてサポートさせていただきます。
