A Happy Launching!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On one fine day in this week, I heard sounds of fireworks from somewhere.
I looked out of the window and found some moving behind Ganryujima island. I looked carefully and find out a new ship with happy pattern on her side was pushed by tugboats.
She was decorated with flags of all nations.
Yes, it was launching ceremony!
At TOUKA, a guesthouse in port town, which looks down Kanmon strait, we sometimes meet such happy events.

うれしい船出！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
今週のとある晴れた日。デスクで仕事をしていると、どこからともなく花火の音。
窓の外をみると、巌流島の反対側に慌ただしい動きあり。
よく見ると、そこには楽しそうな模様の船がタグボートに押されています。
さらに良く見るとその船は万国旗で飾られています。
進水式です。
港町そして海峡を望む宿「灯火」では、時折こんなおめでたいイベントにも遭遇することがあります。
