Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
To take care small business, I drove to our port town yesterday.
On the way back, I visited the pier to see what was going on there. Of course, after checking there was a few people around the pier.
It was evening, so most of the preparation was finished. What was left was only waiting for the arrival of the torch.
Now, it is the day today!
I heard that ordinary people cannot attend the event. But I could see pretty many chairs under the tents. And I wonder if infection prevention was OK.
We do hope that the lighting ceremony will be executed safely and successfully. It seems that someone in management team of the torch relay in neighbor prefecture was infected lately.

きっと来る、きっと来る！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
ちょっとした用事があって、我が港町まで出掛けてきました。
そのついでに海岸がどうなっているか見てみました。もちろんその周辺が閑散なことを確認した上で。
夕方だったこともあって、会場のテント設営等はほぼ終わり、あとは聖火を待つだけという状態でした。
さあ、今日がその当日です！
一般の観客は入れないとの話ですが、テントの下には結構な数のパイプ椅子が並べられていて、率直に大丈夫なのかなと感じました。
緊急事態宣言発効の初日、前日には過去最多の感染者数を市として記録した直後に、聖火点灯式の会場で取り返しのつかないことにならないと良いなと祈ります。最近ではお隣の県ではリレー運営関係者の陽性が判明したばかりですし。
