In Japan, National Police Agency holds nationwide campaign for traffic safety twice in spring and autumn.

The autumn campaign is being held this week.

So we often see these everywhere in town.

Please take care for yourself during the campaign.

Above all, we must avoid traffic accidents like this.

I found out later that the driver was killed by this accident.

秋はほんとにご用心！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では年に二回、春と秋に大々的に全国交通安全運動が実施されます。

秋の運動はまさに今週。

町ではこうした光景をよく見かけます。

そしてなによりも、一番避けるべきは事故、、、

あとで知ったのですが、こちらは死亡事故となったようです。

What we learned this time

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Typhoon Nanmadol, the strongest typhoon in my life.

We learned many things from it.

Reverse wind was hardest just after we were going out from the storm area.

Strong north wind is the weak point of our building.
We felt that our windows were out, if something flew into the glasses.

There was serious damage in our neighborhood.

The people who made temporary measure with rope was the fire fighters of this town.
We were surprised that they did such thing for the people in the town.
(One of them was the inspector who came to check our fire prevention equipment a few days ago.)

Their backs looked so reliable.

今回のまなび

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

自分史上最強の台風１４号。

いろいろ学ばせてもらいました。

台風が通過し、暴風域から出た後の吹き返しが一番強かったこと。

北からの暴風に当宿が一番弱いこと。
なにか飛んできたら窓は終わりだと怯えました。

ご近所さんでもこんな事になっていました。

そしてロープで応急処置をしたのは、消防隊員の皆さん。
こんなことまで対応してくれるんだと、ちょっと驚きました。
（中のお一人は先日の立入検査で、当宿の防火設備をチェックしに来られた隊員さんでした。）

その後姿はなんとも頼もしいばかりでした。

関門海峡そぞろ歩き / Stroll along Kanmon strait

Stroll along Kanmon strait

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I said that it is cooler in the morning and the night, but it is still hot in daytime.

We have been in hot summer for more than 2 months in Japan.

If you feel a little exhausted from the summer,

how about walking short distance along the strait after sunset?

When you feel cool sea breeze on your face, you can get relieved and later power springs up in your soul.

And you will dip yourself into mindful time with looking down seaside route you walked from your room.

関門海峡そぞろ歩き

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

朝晩は涼しくなったとはいっても、日中はまだ汗がにじむ暑さです。

かれこれ二ヶ月続くにっぽんの暑い夏。

ちょっとバテてきたなぁ、と感じてきたら、どうでしょう？

陽が沈むのを待っての海峡っぺりを歩いてみては？

心地よい海風にあたれば、ホッとした後、力が湧いてくる気がします。

そして、お部屋に戻ってからは歩いてきたルートを見下ろして、少しマインドフルな時間に浸る。
