Doing our best to prepare for the Summer, now!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We heard that the Kanto area, including Tokyo, went into TSUYU (rainy season) as of yesterday.

We have been in TSUYU here for about 1 month, but TSUYU of this year has so many breaks and we don’t have rain yesterday and today too.

We think to ourselves that we will go into Summer at this rate.

Because of the recent weather, our hydrangeas got suntanned and drooped.

And so we are preparing for the summer now as well as for infection prevention.

只今、鋭意準備中！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日づけで、東京を含む関東地方が梅雨入りしたと聞きました。

ここ関門エリアはひと月ほど前に梅雨入りしたものの、今年は中休みの多い梅雨で昨日も今日も雨は降りそうにありません。

このまま夏に突入するのではないでしょうか。

おかげで当宿の紫陽花は日当たりが良すぎたせいで日焼けしてしおれてしまい、わずかに残ったつぼみを残して剪定しました。

という具合に目下、感染対策に並行して、夏への準備をしっかり整えている最中です。

それでは、次なるステージにしっかり備えて素敵な一日を！

Extremely Hot Summer?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was so hot yesterday, still in early June.

Coming this summer will be hot at pandemic, cold by government’s operation toward Olympic games,

and maybe extremely hot weather.

If we want to think about how to enjoy this summer, now may be the time.

Because use of nuclear power plants is limited and business people are force to work at home, balance of supply and demand for electricity may also be under state of emergency this summer.
(I am personally worry about hospitals which are taking care for COVID-19 patients and how much Olympic will consume electricity.)

We hope to enjoy this summer by balancing being radically hot and staying in cool place.

今年は酷暑？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

６月上旬でこの暑さです。

コロナウイルスの感染拡大で熱く、オリンピックの政府対応で寒く、なりそうな今年の日本の夏は、、、

気候的には酷暑になるのかも？

来たる暑い夏を楽しく過ごす方法を考えるのなら、、、まさに今かも。

原子力発電が制限されている上に、在宅勤務が奨励されているので、電力の需給バランスも非常事態を迎えるかもしれませんね。
（重症患者を診ている病院は大丈夫なのかな？オリンピック分の電力は？）

せっかくだから徹底的に熱く過ごすのか、涼しいところに避難するのか、この二つのバランスで乗り切りたいですね。

東へ 東へ / To the East

To the East

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday, rain started around noon and got harder in the afternoon. In the midnight, I felt like I was in the middle of a training.

We had calm weather since last week but we are going back to rainy season again.

Our hydrangeas at the entrance have had a little suntan but they may be able to survive with this rain. Instead of them, new hydrangeas, we planted in the shade next to the wall last year, are getting colored now.

This heavy rain seems to shift to the east. So we want people in the east to take care for water hazard.

東へ 東へ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜日の関門エリアは午後から次第に雨が強くなり、深夜には線状降水帯に入ったみたいに激しく降り続きました。

しばらく穏やかな天気が続きていましたが、梅雨の再到来です。

少し日焼けした玄関脇の紫陽花も、この雨で延命出来たかも。代わりに昨年東側の崖下に植えた花が色づいてきました。

さて、この激しい雨も東に向かってシフトしています。東の方の方はどうぞ気をつけて。
