Strong cold wave

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As forecasted, strong cold wave attacked whole Japan on Tuesday.

Like other cities/towns in this country, we also have snow in this town.

The volume of snow may not so much, compared with heavy snow areas. And cold storm is still blowing up now.

We are worrying but a little exciting to think what kind of scenery we will sea after getting bright outside.

予報の通り、火曜日、日本中が寒波に襲われました。

他の町同様、この町にも雪が降りました。

豪雪地帯と比較すると雪の量は大したことないのかもしれませんが、今まだ冷たい嵐が吹き荒れています。

これから周囲が明るくなると同時にどんな光景が見られるのか、心配しながらもワクワクしてしまいます。

Not only night view

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In recent several years, night views have been more and more popular in this town.

But I personally think that goodness of this town is not only night views.

When I take a break during work, I take a walk. And only less than 10 min bring me to this seaside spot.

This town is not bad for both people living here and tourist taking rest during their trip to feel refreshed by the location near the sea.

夜景だけじゃないっ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ここ数年、夜景が注目されることが多くなってきましたが、

個人的には、この町の良さは夜景だけではないと思っています。

仕事がひと段落ついて、ちょっと息抜きに散歩をすると、、、

１０分もしないうちに海岸に出る、そんな海近、港町っていうところがやっぱり悪くないですね。

住んでる人間にとっても、また旅人にとっても、この海の近さゆえの爽快な気分を味わえる環境です。

それでは、午後はのんびり海にたたずむ素敵な一日を！

P.S. あ、忘れてました。今日午後からは記録的な寒波が到来して、大雪になるかもしれないんでした。

It is not counted as major night view spot officially, but the night view from our guest room window has quite relaxed and adult atmosphere. Furthermore it seems to be the best of the three.

The best time for the view is rainy night. Lights of the port are reflexed both strait surface and the clouds and it is mystical.

City’s recommending best night view spot in this city become zero visibility easily on rainy day.

この街の夜景は新日本三大夜景のひとつに認定されています。 さらにいうとその中でも一番だそうです。

市内の主要夜景スポットには挙げらることはありませんが、当宿のゲストルームからの夜景はなかなか落ち着いた大人の雰囲気です。

なかでも良いのは雨の日、港の明かりが雲に移って幻想的です。
