Thank you again foggy tonight
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Heavy rain stopped before Tuesday morning and there was no rain in daytime. But it was a kind of humid whole day.
After getting dark, that climate created deep and deep foggy night.
Fog was so thick that we could not see any lights from the other side of the strait, which is only 1km far from here.
In such night, there is one body who works very hard.
The lighthouse next to this guesthouse keep lighting one direction toward the strait without blinking nor looking away.
That make us imagine the lighthouse is showing blight direction for the people in this country who lose sight of their target in the chaos of COVID-19 after the state of emergency extension.
Thank you and you have a nice day, being strong under government’s request of self-restraint.

夜霧よ今夜も有難う
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
雨上がりの火曜日。昼間ほとんど雨は降りませんでしたが、なんとなく蒸す感じ。
それが夜になると、深い深〜い霧になりました。
１kmちょい先の対岸の光がまったく見えないほどです。
そんな夜にがんばっているのが、当宿上の灯台。
海峡の一点に向って明るい光を放射し続けています。
その姿はまるで新型コロナと緊急事態宣言の延長決定に行き先を見失った日本人に希望の光を灯すかのようです。
