Sleep well?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Saturday morning, I was watching a ferry coming through Kanmon Strait to Shimonoseki Port.

It seems that the guests who checked in happened to be on that boat.

Many of the guests who used the ferry from winter to early spring were suffering from lack of sleep and poor physical condition.

They said it was a comfortable voyage.

As we could imagine, the quality of a boat trip is largely influenced by the season.

快適に寝れた？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

土曜の朝、関門海峡〜下関港に入港するフェリーを見ていたのですが、、、

チェックインされたゲストさんたちが、たまたまその船に乗っていたそうです。

冬から初春に同フェリーを利用されたゲストさんには、睡眠不足・体調不順になったという方が続出していましたが、、、

今は快適な船旅だったとのこと。

やはり船旅の良し悪しは季節が大きく影響するようです。

それでは、季節の特徴をしっかり把握して素敵な一日を！

Travel risks

As I have introduced before, this route is recently popular(?) to come to this Kanmon area.

In March, about 4 groups were using it.

But this route seems too risky.

A few weeks ago, due to bad weather, some guests had their schedules postponed, and others decided to take a flight home.

This time, it was announced yesterday that the voyage suspension would be extended due to postponed inspection schedule, and our guests become anxious.

We heard that there were quite a lot of passengers on the outbound trip. Every group said so.

( To make matters worse, the weather in the Sea of Japan continues to be rough in the winter, and it seems that they were unable to sleep on the ship the day before yesterday. Yesterday, he returned to the guest room early and went to bed before 9PM. By the way, the image is of Tuesday’s surf spot. Too rough to surf there.)

According to our guests, it seems that there is a great need for direct flights.

Repeat guests said they want things to go back to how they were before COVID19 pandemic.

We hope that local governments will push airliner hard to restore flight route/service as soon as possible.

旅のリスク

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

以前紹介したことがありましたが、最近人気(?)の関門入りルート。

３月は４組ほど利用されています。

でもこのルート、リスクが多すぎるようです。

先日は悪天候のために、スケジュールを延期されたゲストさん、そして帰路を飛行機に切り替えたゲストさん。

今回は点検延期による運休期間延長が昨日付で発表され、ゲストさん焦っています。

聞けば、往路けっこう乗船客多かったとのこと。どの組もそう言っています。

（おまけに冬の日本海は荒天続きで、一昨日も船内では寝れなかったようです。昨日は早々ゲストルームに戻られて9時前にはおやすみになられたようです。ちなみに画像は火曜日のサーフスポット。荒れすぎてて波乗りも出来そうにない。）

ここでお話をしていても、すごく直行便のニーズがあることは伝わってきます。

リピーターさんはコロナ前のように戻ってほしいと言っていました。

ここは地方自治体に強く押してもらって、就航復活を一日も早く実現してほしいですね。

This year, they are quite increasing. Wha are they??

The guests who come to Kanmon by ferry boat.

Almost half of our guests are them now.

However, ferries are vulnerable not only to wind but also to waves.

利用者の半数ぐらいになってきました。

でも、、、フェリーって風だけではなく、波にも弱いんですよね。
