On the way to the destination!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The repeater guest checked out.
His first stay was about 2 years ago. We talked about his unique part time job, traveling, and favorite beer and laughed each other a lot.
For two years since last time, he has thought about his future job and dreams. As the result, he decided to be an exchange student and come to Japan. This time, he visited here on the way to the school.
He will go into an university in Tokyo after check-out. He said that he will come TOUKA again to report us his latest situation. We are already looking forward to seeing him.
Slowly but steadily, the guests, who drop by here repeatedly on the way of their life, are increasing among our guests. Because we started this business with final goal to make this guesthouse such place, we were happy to meet with the guest like him.
Can TOUKA be the light of the life?
We want to be the light which show the timing of veering as well as the direction to go, like this lighthouse.

途中立ち寄り！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
リピーターのゲストさんがチェックアウトしました。
前回のご利用は二年前。その時にはユニークなアルバイトや旅行のこと、ビールの話題で盛り上がりました。
あれから二年の間に、どんな仕事をしたいかや、将来の夢などを考えたそうです。その結果、日本に留学することを決めて、その引っ越しの途中で「灯火」に立ち寄ってくれました。
チェックアウト後には東京の大学へ向かうとのこと、お見送りの時には「またここに近況報告に来ます」と言ってくれ、すでに次また会うのがとても楽しみで仕方ありません。
少しづつ、でも、着実に、、、人生の途中にこの宿に立ち寄ってくれるゲストが増えています。そういう場所にしたいと考えてこの地で開業したので、正直とてもうれしい状況です。
「灯火」は人生の針路を示す目印になれていますか？
「灯火」は、この灯台のように、針路だけでなく、いつ変針すべきかをも示す存在でありたいと思います。
