Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is new year’s eve today, isn’t it?

We have experienced really various things this year, not only good one but also hard one.

Tourism industry in Japan got damaged seriously, so did TOUKA.

Now are in the middle of critical third wave of COVID-19 pandemic and we all cannot have clear vision about future. But we got many heart warming messages from our guests who stayed here in this months.

So we looked back last four and half years with wonderful memories of our guests. We did recognized that we have met fine guests continuously since we opened this guesthouse.

Now we hope all guests have wonderful year end and new-year holidays, and we wish happy new year 2021. We may not able to have same days as used to be. But we hope that we have better days with few infection risk and more opportunity to go travel abroad, even if we will have some kind of restrictions.

おかげ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

大晦日です。

今年一年は本当に色々なことがありました。良いことも大変なことも、、、

観光業界が受けた大きな打撃は、ここ灯火も例外ではありません。

今、日本では感染の第三波の渦中にあって全然先が見えない状況の中、年の瀬になって多くのゲストさん達から温かいメッセージをもらいました。

そんなこともあり、４年半という期間に当宿を利用いただいたゲストさん達のことを思い返してみました。本当に素敵な出逢いの連続だったんだなぁと再認識できました。

ゲストさんたちが良い年越しを迎えられること、そして新しい一年がみなさんにとって素敵な祈ります。おそらく100%元の状態に戻ることはないのかもしれません。ただ、感染が少しでも落ち着き、制約はありながらも国境をこえて人々がある程度自由に往き来が出来るようになる日が来ることを祈って
