What our guests taught us! – Japan is not the only place
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
It’s been very hot every day all over Japan in these days. It looks like the hot days will continue for at least another week.
But it seems that Japan is not the only place that is very hot.
Our guest said that the temperature in home country is over 40 degrees every day.
By the way, I think this country doesn’t think much about other countries.
The Olympics are currently being held in Paris, and while the Japanese who lost in the qualifying rounds are reported, there is very little media reporting on the gold medalists who came out on top in the competition.
(Personally, I think it would be great for the Olympics to be like women’s skateboarding. Additionally, it is better not to display the national flags.)
Once the course of a typhoon deviates from Japan, no matter how many disasters may occur along its path, it will no longer be reported in this country.
They don’t bring up neighboring countries unless they want to raise them as political issues. Even if there are many Japanese expatriates working hard and sweating in an environment of over 40 degrees, they don’t.

P.S. Here in the Kanmon area, it looks like it’s finally going to be a midsummer day, even down to the water in the pool. Are we likely to get heat stroke if we swim?

だけじゃない にっぽん！ 〜 ゲストが教えてくれたもの♫
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ここのところ日本列島は毎日暑いですね。これから先さらに１週間は暑い日が続くそうです。
でも暑いのは日本だけではないようです。
ゲストさんが言うには、お国では連日４０度越えだそうです。
そう考えると、この国ってあまり他の国のことは考えないように思います。
現在、パリでオリンピックが開催されていますが、予選で敗れた日本人のことは報道されても、その競技で頂点に立ったゴールドメダリストのことを伝えるメディアはほとんどありません。
（個人的にオリンピックはスケートボードの女子みたいになるのが良いと思います。加えて国旗なども掲げないのが良いでしょう。）
台風も進路が日本を逸れると、進路でどんなに災害が起きていてもそれ以降伝えることがありません。
隣国のことは政治的に問題視したい時以外は取り上げません。その４０度越えの環境下で汗水垂らしてがんばる日本の駐在員が大勢いてもです。
それでは、お隣さんのことぐらいは気にして過ごす素敵な一日を！
P.S. ここ関門エリアではとうとうプールの水まで真夏日になりそうな勢いです。泳ぐと熱中症になりそう？
