Is this the legacy?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I tried to introduce a few points about how to look and enjoy competitive surfing that was adopted at the last Olympic Games.
Some of you may have already noticed, but the beach introduced in the image is actually neither here in Fukuoka nor in neighboring Yamaguchi.
So, where is the beach in the image?
It is the competition venue for the last Olympics.
After the Olympic Games, there were no longer any dormitories, but shower booths and clean toilets were installed, and the functions as a comfortable facility are highly appreciated by surfers.
While I was there and watching the surfers for a while, I was surprised to see many little surfers came in the afternoon after school.
Is this the legacy of the Olympics? I want a legacy like this not only there, but all over this country.
(As of now, the legacy impact of the investment spent on the Olympics is extremely small.)

これがレガシー？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先のオリンピックで採用された競技サーフィンについて、見て楽しむポイントをちょっとだけ紹介してみましたが、、、
すでに気が付かれた方もいるとは思いますが、画像で紹介したビーチは、実はここ福岡県でもお隣の山口県でもありません。
この周辺には画像のようなアグレッシブな女性サーファーは数えるほどしかいませんし、ジュニアについても本当に希少です。
では、画像のビーチはどこかというと、、、
ずばり、先のオリンピックでの競技会場です。
オリンピック終了後には宿舎等はなくなりましたが、シャワーブースや綺麗なトイレなどが整備されて、サーファーにとっては非常にありがたい快適な施設として機能しています。
そこにいて、しばらくサーファーの様子を見ていると、午後になって学校が終わる時間以降には、ちびっこサーファーたちがぞくぞくとやってくるのには驚きました。
これがオリンピックのレガシーなのでしょうか？ ここだけでなく、全国各地にこういうレガシー欲しいですね。
（現状ではオリンピックに費やした投資に対して、レガシーとしての効果は極度に小さいです。）
