Try to make it AMAP in a lifetime!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have enjoyed very happy time for these over ten days.

Why?

Because we have received many messages in response to our seasonal greetings addressed to our guests and supporters.

Many of them tells us that they are doing well or running business very well. And some says that she/he got job, got a baby, got married and moved to Japan and so on. These massages made me feel maximum happiness as a host of TOUKA. (Some messages made me get anxious, because he is losing hope in the future of his homeland.)

At the same time, I feel glad that I have been an analog originator, not a digital communicator.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この十日余り、うれしい時間を過ごしています。

なぜって？

当宿から発信した冬のご挨拶に、たくさんのゲストの皆さんや支援頂いている方々から返事が届いているから、、、

元気にしている旨の連絡から、仕事がうまくいっている、就職が決まった、子供が出来た、結婚して日本に移り住んだといううれしい知らせまで、宿主冥利に尽きる便りが続々と届いています。（中には祖国を憂う内容もあって気がかりですが）

The first visit of the year, Kitakyushu style!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After passing huge red TORII (bridge),

a few more minutes made me arrive at a power spot with full of natural energy.

I was clipped by the nature there, after washed by cold waves.

I have felt strongly after visiting various places in Japan.

Japanese people have forgotten a feeling of awe and respect toward the nature, because we focus too much on the old and majestic buildings which was built by old palace carpenters.

We should notice that there is no merit for praying at Temples, Shrines and even AMABIE, a fairy-like apparition, after practicing for two years.

Thank you and you have a nice day, without misunderstanding the essence of nature’s blessing.

初詣 北九州スタイル！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

大きな赤い鳥居？橋を横目に、

少し西に進むと、

そこには自然のエネルギーに満ちたパワースポット。

新しい年の冷たい波に揉まれることで、自然の洗礼を受けました。

これまで国内のいろんなところを旅してきて感じます。

日本人はいつしか古（いにしえ）の宮大工たちが作った荘厳な建物にばかり目を奪われてしまい、本来敬うべき大自然に対する畏怖・敬意を忘れているように思えて仕方がありません。

二年も学習してきて、神社・仏閣、ましてやアマビエなる人間が作り出した妖怪などにいくら疫病退散を祈ってもご利益なんて無いこと、そろそろ分かっても良さそうなものなのに。

それでは、本質を見誤ることなく素敵な一日を！

for the guests who will visit TOUKA,

disinfection, sanitization and checking temperature to prevent infection.

As there is no perfect infection control, we do need your understanding and cooperation as well as our own efforts.

P.S. As we are on the hill, we can hear the sound of whole town, as well as the whole view of strait town. The sound we are most worried about is that of ambulance which is happening very often.

P.S. ここ灯火のある高台からは、海峡の町の様子が見えるだけでなく、町の喧騒も聞こえてきます。正月早々気になるのは緊急車両のサイレン。
