Still worrying about it
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Lately, even we in a little guesthouse have been able to feel the recovery of inbound tourists.
However, we are still worrying about it.
There is one very popular sightseeing spot where more than 90% of our guests have visited.
We got guests’ message from the spot in the last weekend.
It seemed that there were a lot of people at the market, because weather was fine last weekend. So they could enjoy good Sushi lunch there.
But, honestly speaking, it is hard for us to be 100% happy about that situation.
Because, the prefecture on the other side of the strait is no longer the worst, but still second worst number of infection in Japan.
COVID infection may be no longer a threat, but number of death by COVID-19 has been still about 100 or more everyday.
As I have visited my old parents every other day to check how they are doing, so I have been worrying if our guests get infected in the crowd and come back to this guesthouse.

まだまだ微妙に心配
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
このちいさいゲストハウスでも、インバウンドの復活を感じるようになってきました。
でも、、、まだまだ心配なんです。
当宿を利用されるゲストさんが、ほぼ９割が訪れる観光スポットがあります。
この週末も現地からレポートが届きました。
日曜のお昼過ぎまで天気が良かったので人出もずいぶんあったようですが、とても良いランチができたようです。
でも、正直なところこの状況、もろ手を上げて喜べないんです。
今、対岸の県は、ワーストは脱したものの、まだ国内ワースト２位の感染率を記録しています。
今や感染など恐るに足りないのかもしれませんが、死者数は毎日100人前後で推移しています。
自分は二日に一度は年老いた両親の顔を見に行っている状態なので、万が一、ゲストが市場で感染して宿に戻ってこないか気が気ではありません。
それでは、必要を少し上回る厳しい自己管理を続けることで素敵な一日を！
