Very best in this year!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When I saw weekly forecast on Monday,

I could see only one day sunny which was Wednesday.

So I felt that I had no choice but to go and I went to the place,

to see this scenery that I wanted to see once.

Some one said that flowers have been damaged by bugs but

it was pretty beautiful for me who have seen it first time.

According to a mountain guide who I met there, it was the very best condition in this year.

I thought it was a good idea to try it out.

今年イチバン！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週月曜日、週間予報を見ていると、、、

水曜日だけが晴れ！

だったら行くしかないと行ってきました。

一度は見てみたいと思っていたこの景色を見に！

聞くところによると、虫害がひどく昔と比べると見る影もないそうですが、

初めての自分にとってはとてもきれいな光景でした。

山岳ガイドの方によれば、それでも今年イチバンの綺麗さだとか！

思い切って行ってみて良かったと思いました。

The world that Japanese people have never know

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This year, we have hosting more and more guests month after month even little by little.

While we have communicated with our guests, we can’t help but feel the difference between their countries and Japan.

For example, according to our family guests,

all member of the family have been infected, specially their old mother has gotten twice,

even though she had been working for public hygiene till this year.

Not only the family guests but also other guests from overseas talked us similar episodes.

And we have recognized that this is the “herd immunity”.

Now we are in the middle of Massive Close Contacts between GAIJIN tourists from countries with herd immunity and Japanese people barely immunized with vaccine, which is named as “Tourism”.

Nobody, specially no Japanese, know whether it will come out as good or come out as bad.

Since Japan to downgrade COVID-19 to ‘common infectious disease’, we have not been able to understand infection status objectively even after we checked new statistic data of infection.

We personally re-realized that we have to protect ourselves and elderly people around us.

日本人の知らない世界

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今年になって少しづつ増えてきた海外からのゲストさん。

ゲストさんたちと話をするうちに、日本との大きな違いを感じずにはいられなくなってきました。

たとえば、あるファミリーゲストさんのお話では、

家族の全員が新型コロナウイルスに感染したそうです。そのうち年配のお母さんは二度も発症したとのこと。

なんとそのお母さんは今年まで衛生局の仕事をされていたとのこと。

他のゲストさんたちからも似たような話を聞くことが多く、これが「集団免疫」なのかぁと実感してきました。

集団免疫のできている国々から来る大勢の外国人と、ワクチンでかろうじて免疫を保っている国民とが「観光」という名の濃厚接触、、、

さて、吉と出るか？凶と出るか？

５月になり、五類化が宣言された後では、新しい統計データを見てもどんな状況にあるのか客観的には分かりません。

高齢者と接する機会のある人間は自身で感染対策するしかないとあらためて考える今日この頃です。

早くコロナ前に戻って！ / We want everything back to the situation before pandemic!

We want everything back to the situation before pandemic!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the beginning of this month, direct flight between Kitakyushu and neighbor country started flying again.

We have expected to have guests who come by that flight, but none of them came here yet, just as we imagined.

Because most of our guests from neighbor country use flights to Fukuoka airport, we tried to talk about that direct flight.

They kept saying “Unbelievable flight time”, “We can chose from several flight to/from Fukuoka and it is much more convenient.

So we showed them old flight schedule to Kitakyushu at the timing when COVID-19 started to spreading out.

And most of them reacted honestly that this is the flight they do want to use.

Don’t you come here to enjoy sightseeing, driving and so on?

早くコロナ前に戻って！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今月初めに再開した、当市 北九州とお隣の国との直行便。

それにのってやってくるゲストを期待しましたが、予想に反することなく実現しません。

隣国からは福岡空港経由でいらっしゃるゲストさんが多いので、直行便のことを何度となく話題にしましたが、

彼らも口々に「フライト時間がありえない」「福岡空港の方が選択肢も多いし、便利」という率直な感想をいただきます。

で、彼らに新型コロナ感染が拡大し始めた当初のフライトスケジュールを見せると、、、

そう、これこれ！この時間なら便利に遊びに来れるのに、、、と素直に反応。
