After summer festivals
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Starting today, we have three days holiday in Japan. And news that various summer festival are being prepared all over Japan are broadcasted very often.
By the way, last year,
In spite of COVID-19 clusters were occurred during the festivals, responsible local governments pretended it never happened with explaining illogically why not considered a cluster. Is that only myself who remembered such mystical reaction of local governments?
I am not sure but both prefectural capital of Fukuoka and Tokushima might have festival relate COVID clusters*.
(*You can reach to the stories of cluster scandals with key-word “name of the festival” and “cluster”.)
As far as I saw on recent TV news, I cannot find any remarkable preventive measures among festival people. Is it OK?
If they make man-made disaster happen again, they cannot excuse and they can’t help being told they are stupid.
Occasionally, there are signs that the infection is spreading again. And infection control results can be seen immediately after the festivals.
Now, in this town, Kitakyushu in Fukuoka, people are also preparing for drum festival.

「祭りのあと」
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今日から日本では夏の三連休、各地で夏祭り等の準備が進んでいるというニュースが流れています。
ところで、そういえば昨年、、、
お祭り期間中にクラスターともいえる感染拡大が発生したにもかかわらず、ご当地自治体の論理的とは程遠い説明でうやむやにされ、まるで「なかったこと」のようにされた記憶が新しいのは自分だけでしょうか？
たしか、福岡県や徳島県の両県庁所在地で感染拡大*したように記憶しています。
（「*当該お祭り名 ＋ クラスター」で検索すれば、当時のクラスター疑惑がぞくぞく出てきます。）
最近の報道を見る限りでは、それほど感染対策に気を遣っているようにも見えませんが、大丈夫でしょうか？
人災を二度も繰り返しせば、今度は言い訳できないし、馬鹿じゃないかと言われても仕方ないですよね。
折しも、ここ最近当県下では感染がまた拡大している兆しがあるようです。感染対策の成果は「祭りのあと」に現れます。
さて、ここ福岡は北九州でも、お祭りの準備が着々と進んでいるようです。
それでは、失敗は潔く認め、そこからしっかり学び、未来に活かすそんな素敵な一日を！
