Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As rainy season was over in northern Kyushu (include Yamaguchi prefecture), whole islands of Japan is in mid summer now.
So temperature is getting hotter and hotter everyday.
But once we are in extreme heat or extreme heat, on the contrary our feeling goes down pretty much.
On such hot day, we recommend you to go higher place.
It doesn’t mean to go to expensive places to stay.
We recommend to evacuate to higher altitude.
This guesthouse locates on steep hill but it is only about 30m above sea level. We mean higher then 1,000m.
At there, temperature is about 18 degree C from night to morning。
Even during the day under the shade of a tree, it goes up 24 degree C at the hottest, which is very comfortable.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
九州北部（と山口県）の梅雨が明けて、日本全国が本格的な夏に突入！
そうなると、毎日気温が赤丸急上昇！
そんな気温も猛暑・酷暑レベルまで上がると、気分は反比例してゲッソリ下がりっぱなし。
そこで退避する行き先にオススメなのが、高いところ！
高級なお宿をオススメしているわけではありません。
高度が高いところです。
当宿も高台にありますが、せいぜい海抜３０m程度。おすすめは1,000m越えです。
そこでは、夜から朝にかけては１８度前後、
日中も木陰であれば、２４度ぐらいの快適な気温。いいでしょう？
