Emergent situation but the best season!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
It is almost end of spring now. And it is the best season to stay in this guesthouse TOUKA.
Sun sets right front of our harbor view rooms’ windows. Sun also sets at same angle in autumn but autumn sunset are too hot to watch. We can not be at the window feeling cool wind from ocean not like this season.
It is the time for us to endure self-restraint, but we do feel happy staying in this fine and comfortable place. At the same time, we feel sorry that we cannot share this time with our precious repeater guests.
We wish Japan’s emergency declaration will be over ASAP, together with the end of the emergency situation of guests’ countries. We are praying the the day will come again when everybody can move cross the border easy.
Thank you and you have a nice day, dreaming travel around the world like the sun.
(P.S. I checked the first ship and found that it was our guest’s oil tanker coincidentally. These are relaxed mood pictures, but second ship was a missile ship of our self-defense force.)

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
春も終盤、当宿「灯火」ではいちばん良い時期を迎えました。
海側のお部屋の正面に日が沈む夕暮れ時です。太陽の角度が同じでも秋の西日はかなり暑くて、今のように海風にあたりながらぼんやり過ごすという感じではありません。
外出自粛の折、自らの活動の場が心地よい場所であることを本当にありがたく思います。また同時にこの光景をシェアすべきリピーターのゲストさん達がいらっしゃれないことを残念に思います。
日本の緊急事態宣言が解けると同時に、ゲストさんたちのお国の非常事態も解除され、国境を越えた人の行き来がまた活発になる日を心から願っています。
それでは、太陽のように地球をぐるっと動き回ることの叶う素敵な一日を！
（P.S. まったくの偶然ですが調べたら最初の船はゲストのオイルタンカーでした。ゆったりとした穏やかな光景に見えますが、実は次に海峡を進む船は対艦ミサイルを装備した自衛隊のミサイル艦です。）
