King Ghidorah is moving!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We do not get tired of watching view from this guesthouse, as various things appear in it.

When I was working at this reception, I felt something big moving out of the corner of my eye. So I turned my face to the window and saw:

Something like giant monster, King Ghidorah (a rival monster of Godzilla), is moving in the strait.

I think that you can imagine the size and force, when you watch the pictures that we could see it even after it moved behind the Hikoshima island, the other side of the strait.

Don’t you come here and watch the view which never get us bored.

キングギドラ出現！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここから見る景色にはいろんなものが現れるので本当に飽きません。

仕事をしていると、視界の隅っこに大きな何かが動くのを感じて窓の外を見ると、、、

巨大怪獣！ まるでキングギドラが動いているようです。（メカキングギドラ？）

その大きさと迫力は海峡をぐるっと待って、対岸の彦島の向こう側に行ってからもまだ見えていることからお分かりになると思います。

毎日見ていても飽きない景色、一度見に来ませんか？

Let’s open the window and put your elbow on it

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As autumn cold front comes up north, it is raining today on Thursday.

But it is forecasted that this rain will stop on Friday and we will have autumn clear sky in coming weekend and holidays.

Since COVID-19 pandemic, we didn’t have any guests from overseas. We have had Japanese guests mainly now and most of them come here by car (incl. rent-a-car).

Driving under autumn blue sky sounds good.

And we recommend driving along the Sanin coastline!

It is no longer hot like August. So let’s fully open the window for ventilation to prevent infection too. There is no need of air-conditioning. There is no cider pollen like spring.

You get autumn air on your elbow and you can feel release from all kinds of obligation.

You should enjoy not only sightseeing spots but also the way to get there.

窓をあけて、少し腕を出して

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

秋雨前線の北上にともない、関門エリアは結構な雨降りの木曜日です。

この雨も週末には上がるそうで、連休中はきっと秋晴れの良いお天気になるとのことです。

新型コロナウィルスの感染後、外国人のゲストは皆無。日本人ゲストがメインですが、最近の傾向はお車（含むレンタカー）でいらっしゃる方が少なくありません。

秋晴れのドライブ、、、いいですよね。

オススメは海岸線のドライブ！

晴れていても８月みたいに暑くはなくて、感染対策のための換気も考慮して窓全開で走ってみましょう。エアコンは不要です。春とは違いスギ花粉もありません。

窓から少し出した腕に秋の空気を感じれば、最高の開放感です。

観光スポットだけでなく、そこへ行く道程も楽しんではいかがでしょう？

Waterfront of this city!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As here is a town of strait, people may imagine port and pier with the word “Waterfront”. But there are not only those places.

There is river waterfront in this city, and it locates in downtown.

Yesterday, I got a things to do in the downtown of this city. Just after I finished all of them, parking meter went up another 40min. So I took a walk there.

I found canoe base along the river.

It is that river, which people of my age knows the terrible situation of this river during 1960s and 70s. So I surprised a a lot.

Dear people of that generation: Don’t you come back this home town and check how clean the town has been improved.

ウォーターフロント

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここは海峡の町なので、ウォーターフロントといえば、港か岸壁を連想するのですが実はそれだけはありません。

川のウォーターフロントもあるんです。それも繁華街を流る川で、、、

久しぶりに用事が出来て、街に行ってきました。用事を済ませたと同時にコインパーキングの値段がハネ上がったのでちょっと散策してみることにしました。

なんとその川べりには水上スポーツのための施設も整っているようです。

1960〜70年代のこの川のことを知っている世代には信じられないことです。

そんな世代のみなさんへ、、、きれいになったふるさとに戻ってきませんか？
