Looking up summer sky!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Today 74 years ago, Aug. 6th 1945 AM8:15, the history of Hiroshima was changed.

Three days later, Aug. 9th 1945 AM11:02, the history of Nagasaki was changed.

It can be this town, Kitakyushu, not Nagasaki, about one hour prior to the time. (If the atomic bomb was dropped on Kokura, huge area from Shimonoseki to Wakamatsu was burned out. And my parents might be killed by that.)

“Target was obscured by heavy ground haze and smoke.”

The judgement with these words allowed me to born in this town.

So I will play in silent here under the lighthouse in Komorie, looking up sky above Kokura and thinking about Nagasaki over the sky.

In the sky above Kokura, fireworks look better than a mushroom cloud.

夏の空を見上げて、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

74年前の今朝、1945年（昭和20年）8月6日午前8時15分、広島の歴史が変わりました。

その三日後のお昼前、1945年（昭和20年）8月9日午前11時02分、長崎の歴史が変わりました。

もしかしたら、長崎ではなく、その1時間ほど前にここ北九州の歴史が変わっていたかもしれません。（もし小倉に落ちていたら、広く下関から、若松まで焦土と化したでしょう。自分の両親も被爆していたに違いありません。）

この判断の結果、今の自分があると言っても過言ではありません。

だから9日は、ここ小森江の灯台下より、小倉の空を見ながら、さらにその先の長崎に向かって、静かに手を合わせたいと思います。

小倉の空にはきのこ雲ではなくて、花火の方が似合います。
