Preparing to be 17-years-experienced Santa Clause!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is the announcement of scheduled close in the next month of this guesthouse.

Manager of this guesthouse TOUKA is usually a miserable man (used be a worthless business man), but he becomes a hero of the children only once a year.

The experience, he has had during his stay in U.S. as an expatiate, has made him active toward the event, visiting a foster home in Tokyo for 17 years starting 2000. He and his member have wore Santa Clause clothes and ridden motorcycles instead of reindeers.

They play games and cook cakes together with a lot of kids who are living in the foster home.

Christmas Toy Ride

The presents they prepare may be:

to show that there are safe adults whom kids can stay with,

and just a few hours whey can laugh heartily.

So this guesthouse TOUKA will be closed the first week of Dec to prepare this event.

It is a kinda strange that we started this event for children sake but now we are participate this for the joy which is given by the children.

Thank you and you have a precious day, you will notice that the happiness you give to somebody is much greater than the joy given by somebody to you.

宿主はサンタクロース！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今日はひと月後のお休みについての連絡です。

当宿「灯火」の宿主は、いつもはしがないオヤジです（以前はしがないサラリーマンでした）が、一年に一度だけ子供たちのヒーローになるんです。

アメリカで参加した貴重な経験を活かして、駐在から帰国した翌年の2000年から17年間欠かすことなく児童養護施設を訪問しています。 サンタクロースの衣装で、トナカイ代わりのバイクにまたがって。

わけあって親とは離れ、施設で暮らしている沢山の子供たちと屋外でゲームして遊んだり、一緒にケーキを作ったりしています。

（本当にたくさんいるんです。訪問先で100名以上、、、それでもまだ入り切らない。そんなことも世の人には知ってもらいたいです。）

世の中には安心して一緒にいれる大人もいることを見せてあげることと

思う存分笑顔でいられるひととき

でしょうか。

というわけで、12月の最初の週は当ゲストハウスをお休みにします。

ふしぎなもので、最初は子供のために「なにかしてあげる」活動でしたが、今では皆「子供達に心を浄化してもらう」ため積極的に参加しているようです。

それではどうぞ、人にしてもらう喜びよりも 人にしてあげる喜びの方がずっと大きいことに気付くプライスレスな一日を！
