This time of year in Japan
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In this time of year, cold and warm climate comes alternately in Japan.
This changeable climate is called as “San-kan Shi-on (Four warm days coming after three cold days)”. It is almost like this week in Kanmon area.
Beginning of this week, we have extremely cold weather on Monday. It was a little but we saw snow in the garden.
However, we have quite warm weather after this season’s recorded cold on Wednesday.
From this window, we saw smooth surface of strait and ships were also moving smoothly toward east and west.
Smoke was rising up straight from steal plant’s stack pipes we could see behind the island on the other side. It meant that wind was quite calm.
No wind after strong northwest wind, plus warm temperature 12 degree C as of noon. Combination of these create perfect condition.
When I saw the familiar road curve, I felt so excited with thinking that I would be there on the waves 15 minutes later.

三寒四温
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
週初め、強烈な寒波が押し寄せた関門エリアですが、、、
水曜日の朝に今シーズン一番の冷え込みを記録した後、午後にはポカポカ天気となりました。
海峡も穏やか、船も滑るように通過していきます。
はるか向こうにみえる製鉄所の煙突からのぼる煙も真上に立ち上っていきます。風は極めて穏やかということです。
強い北西風の後の無風、、、そして気温はお昼時点で１２℃。そう最高のコンディションです。
いつものカーブが見えてきて気持ちも高ぶります。
１５分後には自分もあそこにいるんだと考えるだけで、居ても立っても居られなくなる水曜日でした。
